Angie's Soul Cafe

When I want delicious soul food, I drive 2 hours to Angie’s. Amazing food and customer service, you can’t ask for anything more. My favorite is the meatloaf with greens and Mac n cheese. The portions are also very generous. Thank you Angies staff for providing incredible food and service.

OK, normally I do not give out five star reviews if you go back and check my stuff I don’t bother that’s smothered pork chop cold and by no means their fault that it was cold. I just didn’t get to eat it immediately and I was starving was so good. I wanted to eat it. All my stomach would not allow it, but it was so delicious and I know that normally starving just makes things taste better so I waited a little while and I took another bite. It was still Fantastic!

I think the interior just needs a pop of love otherwise 10/10

Yes i will try the ox-tail… i kinda have to now… if the pork chop was second on the love tier and that was bomb af… i have to try top tier.

Smothered Porkchop Dinner with Mac n cheese and greens. The pork chops were very tasty but the sides were horrible.
Greens tasted just like vinegar.
Mac n Cheese noodles were burnt.

Portions are worth it. Food tastes great. I will definitely visit again.

First I wasn't expecting the level of customer service I received. When I say it was amazing? I could not make up my mind on what to get and the young lady at the counter was everything. I told her I was nervous about the catfish because I prefer mine cooked hard but not burnt. I don't know what she told the guys in the back but when I say my catfish was cooked perfect? What made it even better is it didn't have the fishy taste like other soul food restaurants. I'm not a fan of cornbread but because the food was so on point I went ahead and tried it. I'm 1000% sure somebody's Big Mama with the big jiggly arms is in the back. I'm definitely going to come out my way to get more.
