I got a catfish dinner with dressing/gravy and mac and cheese. Mac and cheese was fantastic to me. Made just like I like it but the dressing was a little too sweet for my taste. Good flavor but sweet. Fish was great. I did get some strawberry lemonade kool-aid. It was good and sweet. I would definitely go back.

I ordered a Polish Boy and was shocked to find out it didn’t come with coleslaw. In Cleveland, coleslaw is a staple on a Polish Boy — that’s part of what makes it what it is. Instead of leaving it off without saying anything, it should clearly be listed on the menu or website that coleslaw isn’t included.

I love coleslaw, and without it this sandwich was nothing special — more like the hot dogs you get down on the corner downtown. To make it worse, they didn’t even have a bun for one of my Polish Boys and served it on a slice of bread. The whole experience was disappointing, and I wouldn’t recommend it.

The lady at the register was nice and patient with me 1st time eating there. Wasn't sure what to order. Wanted baked chicken and stuffing. They had no baked chicken and no stuffing. Ended up getting fried chicken with gravy yams and greens it was OK just not what I really wanted. Also got a fried catfish dinner with greens and Mac and cheese which the catfish was awesome season very well. The greens have too many stems more stems than the leafy greens. Mac n cheese was dry. I would probably go there again for my baked chicken and stuffing. Hopefully they have it next time.

I order dinner for an elderly family member about once a week from here. He always loves the food, especially the chocolate cake. Most recently, he had beef tips and gravy over rice and loves the flavor and tenderness of the beef tips. The staff is always extremely pleasant and my order is ready within time estimates given. I appreciate knowing I can count on Angie's for a good hot soul food dinner for my family.

I ordered on the toast app. Left specific instructions for gravy on the side for my smothered pork chops. They smothered the chops anyways and gave me an extra side of gravy. I like my pork chops crispy and to dip it in the gravy. Luckily, the pork chops were still very good tender not fatty. On the flipside, the pinto beans and rice were clearly poured right out The can. I had one scoop of rice under the beans no seasoning, bland…. the mashed potatoes were clearly out of the box. They were almost brown and full of pepper not good at all. The muffin was good…. I ended up throwing the rest away $19 down the drain!

Place was neat and clean. I did have to wait about 5 min before someone realized I was standing at the counter. I ordered smothered pork chops, mac and cheese, sweet potatoes and green beans. The Mac and cheese was very watery and burnt. The corn muffin that came with the meal had a very strange taste. I will try this restaurant again, but I’m not too crazy about it at the moment .
