Not like it used to be, it was the best bagel place in town. High priced mid quality bagels and not a smile or thank you from anyone behind the counter. I'm from the west side, and it used to be a real treat to have Bialys. Honestly, Brueggers has better bagels. And much friendlier staff. At least I dont have to drive 20 miles for the best bagels anymore.

The bagels are good but the quality of the vegetables in the veggie Sammie are not great. They were comparable to Einstein / brueggers or any chain bagel place. The lettuce was seemingly head lettuce/iceburg/or the white vein only of the lettuce which made the whole sandwich taste like it was from a cafeteria. Green leaf or spring blend would have made it a lot better especially since the tomato & avo mash were flavorless. No vegan cream cheese which is disappointing but they do have plant based sausage and cheese which is a plus. I would not get a sandwich again.

It's like being in NYC right here in Ohio! My husband and my kid would get bagels every day (W-F) before school, and now that they've graduated this tradition will surely be missed! So good that it was the breakfast of choice most of the week!

I feel bad leaving this review since I know so many people within our community love this place and the people working there genuinely seem like nice people.

However, I’ve been twice and neither time have I enjoyed the bagels that I’ve gotten. They’re just okay. And for the price of the bagels, I’d like them to be more than “just okay”.

My everything bagels always taste a little bit burnt (I’m guessing some toppings gets slightly burnt?) despite not looking burnt or being toasted.

I’ve also been disappointed by the breakfast sandwiches. In particular, the lack of American cheese when it comes to choosing a cheese. I like cheddar and all, but American cheese is just so much better on a breakfast sandwich. If they added that as an option I’d probably come back now and then.

I’m also confused by the pricing. You can buy 6 individual bagels for $12 or you can buy a 6 pack of bagels for $15? Maybe there’s something in the 6 pack that’s not listed on their website, but it’s weird to me that you’re paying $3 more for a 6 pack rather than $12 if you buy them individually.

It's a real bagel shop. The best in Ohio. A legacy that spans generations.

The best bagels, for decades. I grew up in Cleveland, have lived in NYC and now LA, and Bialy’s remains my favorite (I make sure to go there whenever I come back to visit).

Their bagels and in particular their jalapeno bagel are simple the best. While they have no table service, it was no problem. I simply went down the road to Phoenix Coffee to consume a delicious jalapeno bagel with cream cheese and fresh cup of medium roasted coffee.

Bialys is amazing and I can’t say enough great things about the owner, Rachel. Her staff is as equally great as the bagels and sandwiches. Highly recommend their food and great service!

I was there twice, 2 weekends in a row. I ordered salt bagels and plain bagels. When I got home the salt bagels were fantastic, nice and soft. The plain bagels were hard as rocks, not even toasting them made them edible. The 2nd time I specifically asked the girl if the salt bagels and plain ones were fresh and soft. She really didn't care about the issue I had and felt the bagels and said yeah, all soft and fresh. Unfortunately when I got home every single bagel was rock hard. For the money I spent I expected better products and service. I will not go back.

I have been a decades long visitor when living in the heights.

Something’s changed in the last year. Customer service is non existent. Selection is often poor or out and pricing are at the high end when compared to competition.

In a very recent visit I purchased a dozen plain early in the morning. With one one else in the store and three behind the counter I asked if they could be sliced.

The response from the tall man at the register was “nah”. And replied 24 dollars. Obviously that customer service didn’t warrant a tip nor a return visit. Brueggars will do just fine.

I suspect business is down overall with closed Monday and Tuesday's… why? Few choices after a few hours open and poor customer experience.
Too bad really. For what it’s worth my last three visits were all about the same. There will not be a fourth.

My last two visits you’ve lost revenue because you don’t have enough product for sale. Both times I came in two hours before closing. First visit I was only able to get half of what I needed. Today’s visit was a huge disappointment. The last day you’re open before the holidays and I wasn’t able to get anything I wanted. Is ordering online the only way to get bagels? ☹️☹️☹️
