Disappointing. On their menu they have a vegan option. I went to the restaurant 3-4 times in one week and they did not have anything vegan in stock. I called up to the restaurant and spoke with someone who had confirmed that they had vegan options available that day then when I went to the restaurant the cashier informed me that they had only had mushrooms and nothing else that was vegan friendly. I just feel like they should take the vegan option off the menu if it's going to be so inconsistent.

I drive over a hour just to get the Wolfie Bowl (rice sausage corn shrimp lobster chunks) with your choice of sauce!! Notice now their serving chicken as well!!! Sooooo good Sweet Cajun smacks!!!!! The parking is the one thing I can even think of to complain about!!! That's a minor issue there's always someone pulling in or moving out since The Sauce is carry out only!!!

This is based on my first visit to this very popular restaurant. I ordered the Lobster bag which boast having 2 4 Oz lobsters tails, beef sausage potatoes and corn. I added extra sauce and lemons. The sauce was amazing but there weren't any lobster tails in the bag and I literally had 5 round pieces of sausage, all together it could have been one hot dog. I have small pieces of lobster in my bag but no tails. It was supposed to come with rice, or so I thought but that wasn't with it either. For $32.00, and I had to pick it up because they don't deliver to tremont, I ended up with a big bag of sauce and corn. When I tried to call and speak to someone about my experience no one picked up the phone and you can't leave a message. Not worth the money or drive.

Selection: excellent Set-up: excellent Pricing: bit pricey Atmosphere: very clean Overall Presentation: excellent To-Go experience: excellent plus provides gloves My selection: shrimp bag w/potatoes, corn, pork sausage, sweet Cajun sauce = excellent and filling! Social distancing is enforced however, could improve on pick-up area. Overall first visit experience: impressive, unique biz model, will return.

I am a connoisseur of crab. But I also have no limits when it comes to crab. The Sauce is still open during the pandemic and they have delivery vis Uber Eats. It took me a full month to get comfortable ordering out during all of this madness, so when I finally ordered, I needed all the crab. I had the lemon pepper boil bag and a sweet hallelujah boil bag a few days letter. The sauce is slightly thicker than butter sauce and it was utterly delicious. The lemon pepper was my favorite. Sweet hallelujah needed more of a kick to be successful, I thought. You can add extra sausage, etc. to a bag. Prices are reasonable considering it's crab. Good food, good service!

This is my 4th time getting "The Sauce" and each time there has been something wrong with it. The first time i had Sweet Cajun and the sauce was so over powering it was so hot I couldn't even eat my bowl without taking breaks from it. I had to put lemon juice in it to try to take the heat down. The sauce was also very thick and grainy like you could taste the sugar. The 2nd time they forgot a potato in my bowl that I wanted as an extra. The 3rd time they forgot extra potato in my bag. The 4th time they forgot extra corn and extra potato in bag. I'm trying to figure out the challenge behind reading off a piece of paper that tells you specifically WHAT GOES IN THE BAG! All you are doing is looking at the paper, reading what it is that goes in the bag, and placing it in the bag. Is it that hard that every time I order it's missing an item?? The owner has a pretty large following on Instagram and shows off all the good reviews and likes of this place but does he fail to realize that the employees working for HIM are unable to simply fulfill the title of their jobs?? Hire someone else or fix your poorly and put together system. Idc how much it is for an extra potato if I asked for it I want it and expect to have it. I shouldn't have to check my bag before leaving, isn't much room to do so in there. You should be able to execute a job that only requires two things to read and place in bag, it's just that simple.

The food overall was pretty good. The crab for some reason tasted very salty like it was soaked in salt water. I had the the sweet cajun sauce it was to sweet for my liking. The sweet cajun tasted like syrup which kind of ruined my bag. I probably will not be back even though the place was decent. I'm taking my talents else where.

The food is horrible as well as the staff ordered 2 bowls with extra sauce. Neither bowl had much sauce on it and I didn't receive my extra sauce not to mention the seafood was stale and not fresh. Called the restaurant and whomever I spoke with was very impolite. This place is a joke and not worth the money. They need to close down, sooo many other places with good seafood bags. Don't waste your time or money. 5 Thumbs down.

Very friendly service. I tried the Crab bag, with Sweet Cajun sauce. I wish I would have tried the Lemon Pepper instead. The Sweet Cajun reminded me of baked beans. I might try again one day, and will definitely get the Lemon Pepper instead.

My wife asked me to bring home the crab bag from the Sauce Seafood on Cedar. I tried to call in but got no answer. I read some Yelp reviews which warned me of slow service. I was very pleasantly surprised. I got there and stood in line to order. I ordered and paid. I got called within a few minutes. My wife likes crab and we got the Crab bag with garlic butter. Corn (2) and potatoes (3) came with bag. Also 5 pieces of sausage. Also crab for two with garlic butter. The crab was good as well Good meal for two for takeout for $18, good value

I read reviews that food was great but wait was long so I ordered online through yelp and paid w PayPal. When I got there 20 minutes later it wasn't crowded but they hadn't cooked the crawfish yet. I waited about 15 more minutes. Positives: 1. It smelled so great in there I didn't mind waiting 2. The crawfish and shrimp were perfectly cooked 3. The sweet Cajun sauce had a nice kick 4. Staff was friendly Negatives: 1. The crawfish and shrimp weren't cooked in a flavorful boil, so they were bland, although sauce was good. 2. Portions not big for price. I spent $28 and could have eaten it all myself--crawfish boil and extra shrimp. That's a lot to spend for one person for take-out!
