I grew up on Chef-O. I worked at Chef-O in high school. A lot of fond memories of this place, but it's just not good. The new owners didn't make any changes to improve food quality, they just sanitized the menu. The food is not good. The service is not good. This place is just a zombie surviving off nostalgia. Very sad.
This is the typical greasy spoon. It's wonderful. It is a much welcomed re-opening. Finally someplace to get brekkie or lunch in that shopping center. Very convenient and close, a real hub of the community.
It was jammed full when I went for lunch at 13:00 in the afternoon. Great work by the kitchen staff (and wait staff) to get orders out quickly and efficiently. No weeds. Bog standard frozen burger was delicious. No complaints other than the corner seat...

If I had any complaint, the food is somewhat basic fare…but it’s thoughtfully done, the atmosphere is one-of-a-kind and service was awesome. Just feels like a nice, local establishment that’s well-priced and leaves you satisfied.
