Classic, high end steakhouse with jazz themed background, great bar, good natured staff, and excellent food. If you are low carb, keto, Paleo, or carnivore, Hyde Park is your home away from home. Came in to celebrate my 21st birthday and the entire evening was amazing! Our server, Cody, was knowledgeable and great to talk to! I got the Steak Griffin and it was cooked perfectly. Great place for special occasions.
Good burgers and filets. Salads are great. Todd was a happy, competent waiter. Drinks here are the only reason I ding the place. Martini was just ok...not cold enough and garnish is always past its prime. Love sitting in bar area and they lit the fire for us on a cold, damp evening.

Of all the steak houses in the Columbus Area, Hyde Park Upper Arlington is the best of the best! We keep trying to top the food and ambiance but no other restaurant compares. This is our go-to place for special events and celebrations. The food is consistent which is what we want when we want the best!

Dinner was perfect. The shrimp cocktail to start was delicious. Scallops for me and filet for my wife. Great food and service. Ask for Collin for the great service.

A good experience, however it seems as though things are changing. Dress attire for most of the clientele was jeans, a lot of sweat shirts/hoodies and gym shoes. Our server was terrific, but some of the staff, especially the few who had waited on us in the past, didn't appear to be as cheerful or enjoying their work like days of old. I sense this is due to the change in atmosphere. Hyde Park UA had been my favorite restaurant for many years, it was old school with lots of nostalgia; I wasn't feeling it last night. The smoked old fashion was traditionally prepared on a board, had a wonderful flavor. This was my spouses favorite cocktail and she would always order one. She said she will no longer order it since the smoking process has changed resulting in a loss of flavor. I would still recommend this restaurant but not for all the same reasons I used to. Today I believe Hyde Park UA has good food and service, noise level better than some other restaurants, decent location. That's about all.
Food great/noise level high/manager in charge was unresponsive about addressing an issue with a glass of wine that was full of dregs.....tried to explain it as normal. Ruined a good meal.

I don’t usually eat at places this nice and let me tell you it was honestly the most delicious and enjoyable meal I have ever had. I didn’t feel rushed even though it was Valentine’s Day, if I had any questions I KNOW they would be more than happy to answer, and they were so quick with the service! The portion sizes were bigger than I was expecting too which is a plus! Highly highly recommend for a nice dinner or a great date night!

I expected a little more from Hyde Park. For starters the bread basket was disappointing. I don't usually even comment an out a bread basket but it was a sad start. The rolls were rock solid and 1 of the 2 pretzel sticks were doughy. For an appetizer I ordered the wedge salad, it was very good. I ordered the Chilean sea bass with the lemon butter sauce. The fish was cooked well but lacked so much flavor. It needed more lemon or something to brighten up or highlight the fish. The sauce tasted was very flavorless, just butter. My husband ordered the 16oz Ribeye, it was cooked perfectly and was the better choice. For sides we ordered the whipped garlic potatoes and the asparagus. The ambiance seems dated with a much older clientele. I was a little disappointed in the service as well, our server wasn't very attentive. I just expected it to be a little better.

This visit was very disappointing. It started off good, but went down hill once we were seated. Our orders were taken fairly quickly, and our salads came within a reasonable time, but then they seemed to forget about us. They just let us set, even after ordering a 2nd drink, we finally canceled it as everything was taking too long. Someone did come over to apologize regarding how long it was taking, but didn't seem to help. And once the meal finally came, two of our dishes were barely warm which only added to the disappointment. We didn't want to send them back for fear of how long it would take . Another couple came in 1/2 hour after our table & they received their food about 20 minutes before our table.
