Dinner for two... last minute decision to drive to Upper for dinner at Fort 88. We arrived at 840pm, and they close at 10pm. We were met promptly and seated with smiles and gusto. We ordered: the crab rangoon dip, smoked wings, tacos, mac & cheese, and the meatloaf sandwich entrée to share. Let me say, we could have (and maybe we did 😏) pick that bowl clean. Good god... that dip with the homeade chips... PERFECTION!!!! The meatloaf sandwich, we weren't expecting much,...
Great place downtown, friendly service with a great attitude, and really good food. Sauces and everything made in-house, with a nice dining room inside and also a nice patio dining area in the back. A great find as I was passing through town.
We (05) stopped by for brunch on Saturday. They had a decent brunch menu. The atmosphere was great, our waiter, she was super.
We sat near the kitchen and had the privilege to see every dish come out. Fantastic.
The restrooms were big and spacious, and clean.
