Tonight at the steer barn I had the 8 oz filet, carrots, and mashed potatoes. My steak was cooked perfectly to my liking, like so good I could’ve hugged the chef! All of the staff is friendly, knowledgeable, and attentive. I would recommend this place to any friend or family member. You have to try the smoked old fashioned as well! And get dessert. You’ll dance in your seat. Thank you Andrew, Logan, Gina, Linda, Kris and the rest of the wonderful staff for being superb. 🖤

The environment and the food was avg like Texas Roadhouse Outback and Tony Romos had a kid. I feel the quality of service and food do not match the price. I feel Mancys is a much better price and experience. But for a town with not much in it I assume this is what they have to offer.

Servers were good, spinach dip was really good. The steaks however, not so much. $42 for a 3/8” thick way over done steak. Is kind of crazy. The $26 sirloin came out a good medium rare. But was somehow stringy and not tender. Maybe it was an off night. But for the price there shouldn’t be off nights.

Don & I came home for a visit to see our family over the 4 th of July.We moved to SC,so great to come to Steer Barn,has been MANY years since we have been here It was Thurs, July 3 Rd,ordered Prime Rib,but don't have it,so our waitress was vVERY good,gave us our salad free cause my husband was disappointed that he couldn't get Prime Rib.We got a beautiful Ribeye,huge,we split it cause it's so much for us,my husband can't eat much.It was one of the best steaks we have had and it's been so long since we have been to the Steerbarn.We both graduated from Galion High School and THE STEER BARN was THE place to take a prom date back in the day.Thanks for a Memorable meal and thanks to our waitress, apologize for not remembering your name.Happy 4 th of July.!!
