The place has never been the same since it was sold by the Woods. Very disappointed.Pros: Food was good, not outstanding.Service was good.Cons: 35 to 45 plus for an entree which included two sides, but$3 extra for salad, $2 upcharge for loaded bake potato.No more baskets stuffed with delicious garlic toast.A basket with not good bread or toast.No more relishes.Mixed drinks were not the best and expensive.No more mints at the exit.After years of enjoying this restaurant we will probably not return. It seems every business wants to charge more for less.

This was a first time eating here for my Husband and I. Our server Taylor was phenomenal. She never skipped a beat while waiting on our table and a very large party that was seated in a side room. My husband and I never had to remind her of our request or wait on drinks. Our steaks were cooked as ordered and portions sized for the cost of our meal. My husband and I had a great experience at Boone's Steer Barn.

Had dinner with the family tonight and it was delicious! Been coming here since I was a baby and I'm now 30. I had the scallops, which were swimming in butter and lemon and were perfect. Along side was a loaded baked potato and a side salad with the house dressing. Everything was delicious. My husband had a flat iron steak with Asparagus and the brussel sprouts. The brussel sprouts were a little too chared and there were more leaves than whole Brussels but the asparagus was delicious.My relish Susan was the carrot salad, cottage cheese and peas and peanuts salad and it was the best! The staff was very efficient and friendly! Very happy with dinner!
It was good but not for the $200 I spent for 3 people to eat.

We had our first family Christmas dinner here. We invited our kids spouses parents. So there was about 12 of us. We had our own private room. The food was exceptional, the service was exceptional. With a baby running around she done a great job working around him. The environment was really wonderful. They had Christmas music playing at the beginning and it was not overwhelming, which they turned down or off during dinner. Very affordable for the amount of people. I 100% recommend this place. And clean bathrooms.Parking: Reservations only due to food and parking. They want everyone to be able to get the things they like.Kid-friendliness: My grandson ran around the room we were in with no issues.Wheelchair accessibility: Flat surface for smooth access.
First time at the Steer Barn,came from Toledo,ohio to see the festival lights.No wait, was seated quickly.2 adults,2 kids under 8. Ordered chocolate milk....no milk. No mac & cheese. No green beans . Only vegetable was asparagus.Ordered the cheesecake, was like a whipped fluff.☹️
