Edit: So, unfortunately, I have to edit my review and they're losing a couple stars. I ordered a smothered burrito for my daughter--which costs $2 more. I asked for it to be toasted. The burrito I received was not toasted, it did not include the corn salsa as requested, they did not put on the Monterey jack shredded cheese and, most importantly, was NOT smothered. My daughter also said she found a piece of grass in it? It cost me $13.50. When I tried to call the store it just went to a message that said the voicemail wasn't set up yet. Completely unacceptable. I'm not sure I'll be returning.

My order was ok this time, my previous experience was horrible. I received a free burrito for the inconvenience, unfortunately it expired. I would think that after messing up an oder, the offer to make it right would not expire so soon. Do better Hot Head Burritos.

If you’re looking for a side of attitude with your burrito, the Hot Head in Urbana has you covered. The lady with the pink and purple hair was serving looks, sighs, and eye-rolls like they were toppings. She complained about the rush, complained about the order, and acted like me asking for sauce on the side was a personal attack on her entire career. Ma’am… it’s literally a cup of sauce. Every huff, puff, and dramatic exhale could’ve powered a wind turbine. I came for dinner, not a guilt trip. Someone might want to remind her it’s Hot Head Burritos, not Hot Head Attitudes. From reading all the most recent reviews it seems this is a consistent trend…If management wants customers to keep coming back, they might want to reel in the crazy-attitude-having-tornado representing this place. At this time it is 7pm, unfortunately she still has 3 more hours of pure torture to go! 😬 seek elsewhere and good luck to those who do not know better

I took my sister here for the first time. The customer service was terrible. They were rude and had an attitude when they spoke. Asking them question resulted in them yelling at me because they couldn’t hear me so I spoke up a little bit so they could hear and then they replied you don’t have to yell. I ordered $11 and then added another $25. I didn’t get my drink at all. I was given two different sizes of bowls. Both with the same exact fixings. When I questioned why the difference they got mad and said for me to just give it back and they’d remake it after they have been speaking to my sister and I like we were a problem and a inconvenience for them to do their job. They said they were busy inside but when I pulled around there was no one in the building in line or sitting down. Worst experience we won’t ever eat there again

I prefer chipotles but we do not have one where I live so hot heads it is! I must admit I didn’t like hot heads when I first tried it cuz I had no idea what I was doing! I now like it. I do not like the way they charge extra if you ask for more rice or more cheese! And please do not ask for a tip when I am not sitting down to eat. If it is to go you are making the food you get paid for that! I am huge into tipping servers or delivery drivers who work for tips!

So my son and I visited this location for the first time today. It was a terrible experience. The person running the cash register was very rude rushing the other employees and we felt like an inconvenience to her for ordering more than 1 thing a piece. When we got home I was missing food and the taste was subpar and my burrito was put together terribly. We will not revisit this location.

My family and I have been to this hot head multiple times and have never had a problem. This afternoon was totally different. Me, my husband and are two boys went in after church. We ordered a total of 6 bowls. I’ve never felt so inconvenienced to place an order. The manager Donna A. (Who I’ve never seen in there before) was incredibly rude and overly rushed. When we ordered there was no one behind us in line. Two people entered after we started our order. Donna reprimanded one of the employees right in front of us for putting to much meat on a bowl. She didn’t allow my son anytime to look at the toppings without acting completely annoyed. That’s just part of my encounter. I’m saving the rest for cooperate. The other employees working with her were great. Took the orders professionally, and didn’t make me or my family feel rushed. I hope this manager was just having a bad day, otherwise she needs to find another place of employment.
