Great place! The best bartender around… Sam! We had wagyu sliders, stuffed peppers, potatoes bravas and their cheesecake… AMAZING!!

Wish I could do 4.5 stars because that's more accurate. Had a great dining experience recently with my woman. She got the salmon, which was fantastic, and I got the Jamaican chicken salad sandwich. Pretty good also, but that salmon was spot on with the honey glaze. Our server, I forget hos name (sadly), made us some delcious mocktails. We started off with the bacon wrapped dates. Highly recommend! And we finished off with a rather dry piece of cheesecake for dessert. That was the only downside to our experience. Phenomenal service. Quaint little patio outside. Would definitely return if ever we get back to Urbana.

Sam was a gem. Truly hospitable and made delicious filthy martinis. I will be back just for the service he offered!

UPDATE (8/24/25): We returned to Pequeños yesterday afternoon without a reservation. We sat outside in the cozy lounge area tucked away at the far end of the patio. Our server, Sam, was outstanding. Knowledgeable, attentive, and provided us with several recommendations. At a time when service has declined more and more at most establishments, Sam was a welcome break from the norm. To drink, we had the rosé and the Tempranillo, both of which were very tasty. As for the food, the olive tapenade, goat & baguette; the stuffed piquillo peppers; and the spicy chorizo & scallion polenta were all delicious. However, the burrata and bacon wrapped dates were absolutely fantastic. Overall, we had a very lovely time. We will certainly be back. ORIGINAL POST: Planned our first visit here days in advance by making a reservation. Had the reservation confirmed. Received multiple reservation reminders. Arrived from out of town to find the restaurant closed. No advanced notice, no sign on the door. Had to track down the post on Facebook (which was made after we received our final reservation reminder) that you were closed for the Fair. Emailed you about the issue rather than put you on blast publicly. Received a couple of curt emails, then radio silence. So here we are. Well done, everybody.

Wanted a quick bite on a Sunday afternoon. Our server was attentive and very precise with our orders. We got Greek salads and Spanish meatballs on a baguette. Food took forever to arrive,no fault of our server, just a very slow kitchen.Very small salads arrived, the dressing was as Greek as I am,which means not at all.It was flavourless. As for the meatballs, all three of them, cooked nicely but the miniscule portion, about three inches of baguette hardly made for a meal. Our beverages were a can of beer, domestic, and a glass of water. Thirty eight dollars and change without the tip.If you have a great deal of time and not much appetite it is perfect for you.

Food was flavorful and delicious, we drove an hour to find a good tapas place and we were not disappointed. I loved my polenta and octopus, the Caldo Verde was a reminder of childhood, and the piri piri brought the heat!

Made a reservation for my wife and I and when we arrived they had the place booked out to a private event. They would not honor the reservation and they never even bothered to let me know that the reservation was cancelled. Then people started making fun of us. Definitely not going back. Very bad service and not a good vibe at all.

Fantastic place for tapas. I had the bacon wrapped dates and Galician octopus. Both were fantastic! Great spot for a night out, friendly staff and delicious food.

My husband and I came here for dinner. We enjoyed the shrimp and polenta, the meatballs, thr tomato soup, burrata, a small cheese plate. Everything was so flavorful. It's a small area but the food really makes your taste buds dance. I could have licked my plates clean. I will definitely return.

I dont normally leave reviews, but this place is fantastic. 10 out of 10. Food is great, service was great. Would highly recommend the food, although am not a drinker but their selection or drinks was large and varied. Definitely worth a stop by if you are passing through!

I don't usually complain and I don't understand why this place has 4.9 stars. Me and my wife went here before the Ryan Mundy concert. We got there the atmosphere was okey chairs where a little tight took 15 minutes for the server to come to our table that's okey.. we ordered our food a hour goes bye our shrimp wrapped with bacon never came in the middle of this they have no ventilation to whatever they are cooking my eyes begin to burn and water. this whole time at first I thought it was my allergies but no it was a stinging sensation I had to go to the bathroom in the basement to get a break. after all this my wife says let's just get our food to go so we did. after that it took another 15 minutes to pack it up. after that we pay them I get up and the customer behind me says man are your eyes burning to and i seen you kept rubbing your eyes to I felt for him and I didn't feel crazy because his eyes where blood shot and dripping too I am not a Karen and I felt for the workers because they where stressed but they must of been understaffed and when you cook there has to be some kinda ventilation the whole place is just to small for what there trying to do we will never be back such a disappointment! And the shrimp was sub par to say the least. no flavor and wrapped in some cheap bacon and thrown in a toaster oven in assuming will just stick to the tried and true cafe paridiso from now on! If I'm in Urbana
