Sorry but we started eating before remembering to take pictures. Hubby had Mom's meatloaf and I had the Chicken Fried Chicken...both were delicious. The mashed potatoes were actually homemade and really good. Delicious homemade gravies on both dishes. Loved the warm cinnamon apples, they were not too sweet and had a great cinnamon flavor. Also like the cinnamon biscuits.
Greatest pies ever. We continue to be amazed with the Farmer's Daughter. We returned today, as usual, the pies were outstanding. The liver and onions were so tender they could be cut with a fork. I also had the beets and egg for a side. It brought back fond memories of my mother's cooking. She made pickled beets too. Unfortunately, I have forgotten the name of our waitress, but she was very attentive (a young girl). BTW: the pie was so good we bought one to take home...
The service is impeccable. Couldn't keep track of how many waitress because they were flying! We got there too late for breakfast but lunch was excellent. The menu had some very unusual dishes including sweet potato casserole, pizza burger and a lime jello salad.That was our first trip there but won't be our last. Loved it!
