The service at Wing Bar - Urbana is absolutely phenomenal — friendly, attentive, and welcoming. The food? Chef’s kiss. We loved it so much, we came back for dinner two nights in a row!
Everything we tried was delicious: wings, hush puppies, buffalo chicken subs, fried greens, and a chicken salad. Each dish was full of flavor, and the portion sizes were more than generous. The quality is top-notch — clearly made with care.
If you enjoy margaritas, do not skip the blackberry one. It’s a standout!
This place is a little-known gem that deserves way more attention. Don't miss out

Wentbin shortly after lunch, maybe 1:30. I ordered one of the lunch specials, pizza (2 pcs) and wings. The pizza was clearly old. The cheese was flat, and looked cold. The wings were the same. I should have sent them back right away. The wings were so dry that I literally could not swallow them without taking a drink. My husband's fish, slaw and french fries were just edible. We will not be going back while it's still so pooly run.

The service was slow. I'm certain we were only the customers there. Took a half hour for my husband to get his second beer after finishing his first. His pizza was good. But the worst part was the boneless wings were just cut up baked chicken breast with buffello sauce on it. The wings werent battered or breaded just naked chicken breast. Over priced with no sports on tv.

Not a good experience for me. Food took a long time. It was hot. Service was slow for drinks and refills. I think the server just needed more help. She acted like she was trying. Wings really weren’t very good or cheap.

I’ve been defending this place for years and I’m done. 90 dollars to feed 3 people and nobody even had alcohol. The food, at BEST, only as good as a sandwich bought at Speedway. Then they hit me with a 3 dollar service charge for using a card. Way to punish us for eating your mediocre food. I’m done protecting this small business - go out of business for all I care because I’ll be at McDonald’s before I ever set foot here again.

Its a little restaurant/bar with an attached drive thru. The service was great however the dining room temperature was quite hot.
Boom boom boneless wings with extra sauce were good not great but they were massive chunks of chicken. That I can get behind. The sauce was described as buffalo with bbq but tasted like it didnt have enough of either. Would definitely get a different sauce next time.
The gripping dog was phenomenal. The uncured weiner was top notch. I'd come back for this alone.
Also pictured is the chicken bacon ranch sandwich which was reportedly good but had a bit too many onions.

We ordered an appetizer, never received silverware until our meal came out. We never got any little side plates for appetizer or wings when they came out. Staff from The kitchen came out stating they weren’t doing dishes as they had seniority. One bartender (Bailey maybe) dropped the F word about 30-40 times in a 25 minute timeframe. Another person from the kitchen brought silverware out in an apron, sat in his apron at the bar and rolled silverware. Overall food was okay, service and atmosphere were beyond poor.

Stopped for dinner. Ordered a loaded tots and a supreme pizza. Although serving size was rather small, tots were tasty...crispy with lots of beer cheese and some sprinkles of bacon and a dipping cup of sour cream. Pizza was delicious. Crust was crispy but still had a good chew to it. Sauce was mild and plenty of toppings. The menu had a good amount of choices and was quite interesting with items we haven't seen before but looked good. Server was pretty busy tending bar and waiting on all tables inside and out. She was attentive to our needs.

I've been searching for new wing places since the roosters in springfield closed. This place has amazing quality and preparedness of wing and other items. My ONLY complaint isn't even a complaint. I like spice with my wings. I ordered mango habenero and whatever they call their boom boom sauce with BBQ. Neither of which had heat at all.
I'm a veteran when it comes to heat but was still disappointed bc I felt was no heat at all.
Great flavor and everything else.
I would say for those looking to feel spice either order their hottest(which still has flavor. Asked to taste after the disappointment )
Whenever I try I new wing spot I don't go full heat bc most places heat blast away the flavor. This place doesn't. It's just all flavor lol .
Will be back for something with more heat and to try their other boasted about specialties.
Drinks amazing but slightly over priced even with them sticking to a double shot ratio.
7-9 dollars for a cocktail anywhere else with same alcho.
