I can’t say enough nice things about this bar. My husband and I came here for our anniversary and Michelle our server/bartender made our night feel extra special even though they were pretty busy. Thank you for such fun night out. We will be back.

Previously visited for a quick drink, tried going back for dinner on 11/14. Sat down at 6:10, a server passed us around 10 minutes later saying she'd be right with us. 15 minutes later, no one came back. Went to the bar to ask and was told they'd be with us when they could. We left. Still a few open tables and the staff was working hard—may have been understaffed, unfortunately.

We had the corned beef and the homemade macaroni salad and it was excellent. I prefer regular rye bread over the swirl pumpernickel but the sandwich was excellent and we will be back.

We have been here multiple times and every visit was 100% better than expected, service and meals have always been consistently spot on and the restaurant and restrooms are always lean

Blue cheese burger was good. However the wings were way over cooked. Like they'd been sitting in the warming tray for days!! they were absolutely not cooked fresh or even in the last couple hours. The server did make it right and take it off the bill but lets have a talk with the kitchen staff and get some fresh wings in there. drinks were very reasonably priced and vibe was good

Been wanting to check out The Wooden Nickel for a while and finally made it out today. Ordered the Cajun Bleu burger cooked medium with fries paired with a couple Great Lakes Christmas Ale draft beers. I think the burger was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had with its texture and flavor reminding me more of chopped sirloin than ground beef. The Cajun seasoning, bacon and bleu cheese combined for the perfect balance of flavor on this burger; not over the top; just right! The service was great. Looking forward to my next visit.

10 people in the bar. We made it 13. 7 1/2 minutes to get noticed due to shift change st 550 pm. Terrible service always. Bar food ok not as good as when other chef was there. Going downhill.

The first and only time we tried this restaurant and the service was horrible and we felt as if we were not wanted. They had a baseball team coming in and basically stated they were going to be too busy!! The food was good but definitely will spend our hard earned money elsewhere!!! Maybe we just didn’t matter because we were new customers!!

I’ve eaten here many times and have never had a bad meal. They have a great buffalo chicken sandwich, and delicious salads. The restaurant is always clean and service is great as well. The owner is such a sweetheart and you can tell she takes such pride in her restaurant and her product!
