Been wanting to check out The Wooden Nickel for a while and finally made it out today. Ordered the Cajun Bleu burger cooked medium with fries paired with a couple Great Lakes Christmas Ale draft beers. I think the burger was honestly one of the best I’ve ever had with its texture and flavor reminding me more of chopped sirloin than ground beef. The Cajun seasoning, bacon and bleu cheese combined for the perfect balance of flavor on this burger; not over the top; just right!...
I’ve eaten here many times and have never had a bad meal. They have a great buffalo chicken sandwich, and delicious salads. The restaurant is always clean and service is great as well. The owner is such a sweetheart and you can tell she takes such pride in her restaurant and her product!
