True definition of a hidden gem………but somebody should have buried it. If you like Sicilian food that is knock off Italian then this is the spot for you. Flat out misses the mark. Staff are nice but the food is just way too bland and not old school Italian. Old school Sicilian maybe but misses even for them. Middle of my pie was doughy edge of my crust was like the bricks that they used to make in the 1920’s. Very little sauce but maybe that’s a good thing because it had no flavor. Maybe It was a bad day IDK but won’t try again
In my opinion, the best sandwich in Ohio. The hot stuffed banana pepper sub is out of this world - freshly baked bread, homemade sausage and sauce with melted cheese. All prepared and baked in the pizza oven to order. The chicken salad and pizzas are also stunning. We drive almost an hour round trip to get their food and every mile is well worth it.

Its a piece of Little Italy deli down in the Valley, staff is awesome... Chicken parmesan on a fresh hoagie style bun is on point... Sausage and peppers with mozzarella on hoagie bun is a favorite along with the fresh made white pizza sold by the slice or the antipasto salad is just delicious. All servings are plentiful. Coca-Cola products.

We live an hour and a half away in Ashland County. We just happened to be in the area and wanted to try something "local" and not a chain. We found Deanatella's on "maps". This, by far, is the best food I've ever eaten. We will definitely drive the hour and a half to come back. What a hidden Gem. Thank you to the staff at Deanatella's for makimg suggestions and overall just being great. We've already told friends and family to make the drive. Hopefully we'll see you again soon!
