Used to be a very good pizza place to dine in or take out. I absolutely hate leaving bad reviews but hate not saying something when food is bad. Since new owners sauce has been good on pizza but last night 01/18/25 pizza was delivered and was not even cut and is not the first time it has happened, also have bought chicken in the past since new owners and chicken wasn't even cooked all the way through. Only saying something because enough is enough want a good restaurant in vandalia again PLEASE!

Yes they are back up to speed with a force. Return of the chicken parmigiana and the turkey hoagie. I had not been there for a while. We ordered both the above and a pizza for delivery. All came piping hot in 35 mins as promised. Great job guys.

Been coming here for over a decade.
Hate to leave bad reviews, but enough is enough. Management / owners need to step up and take action.
Went in tonight on 11/3 to dine in. Go here a couple times a month.
Food is usually pretty good - except the crust has been "missing" on the pizza pretty much every time we go. And the fries are inconsistent.
Atmosphere is good / okay except for when the highschoolers come in and act rowdy or use the bathroom to smoke in. Also, no music or TV. So it's so quiet and akward. Like on a Sunday night...put some football on. Or even some music. Something!
And lastly, it could use a deep clean.
My biggest conplaint...customer service has been getting consistently worse. Usually from the younger people who work there.
Came in around 6:45p. Placed our dine-in order. Told them we would be back up to place a order to-go for 4 tenders. Went back up at 7:30p to order 4 tenders and was told the grill was already closed. Should've told us this before. The girl in the red shirt who took our order was rude and the guy in the orange shirt who dropped off our pizza and told us the grill was closed was also rude. Just poor attitudes.
Looks like we will be skipping them and just give our business to Clasic Pizza in Huber since Christy's doesn't value customer service anymore.
We spend too much money there to deal with that.

The pizza was edible, but it definitely was nothing special. We got a deluxe. The crust was incredibly tasteless and soggy, and there were some slices that had large amounts of onions and mushrooms and others that might have only had a piece of pepperoni and cheese

The plate was dirty and my food was under cooked

This pizza is priced way too high to look and taste trash worthy. Shame on you. I'll go to dominos. It'll taste better and be cheaper ?

The pizzas were fresh and delicious! We got a butcher meats pizza and a supreme pizza which were both taste amazing! Inside the restaurant gives you that hometown feel which I love. Staff were super friendly and helpful. If you haven’t tried Christy’s pizza you are missing out! One of the best pizza places in town!

Currently the worst pizza locally. A LOT of consistency problems since ownership change. Still.maintains the soggy crust :( Work ordered a bunch of these in for a meeting, and the quality of each pizza looked like a 6 year old threw it together, really it did. Some almost zero sauce, others dripping with it... even the crusts were vastly different in thickness !? I'd order dominos before this, at least it's consistent.

Gross grilled cheese, stale bread, greasy onion rings. I don’t get it.

Christys pizza was in the Fulmer shopping plaza on the end when I was a kid in the 60s and 70’s. I think it was called Christys Alpine Inn. It had cross cross leaded stain glass windows and my dad would take us there often. There was also a take out entrance. The restaurant is no longer there but we go to the new location on Dixie. That building was an old Lawsons convenience store but it looks like they built on. I am stopping there on my way home to Pittsburgh from St. Louis. Can’t wait!!!!! It is my favorite pizza and brings back great childhood memories.

Christy's is amazing! We took the daycare kids for a field trip and they had a great time. The staff is very friendly and made our experience great. I've also never had any issues when coming in alone either. Thank you Christy's!

Okay, so from what I hear, this place used to be so good! But, I also hear they changed management, and yeah, it's not so great.

1. They didn't get us plates. We had to use paper boats
2. They didn't clean the tables, and there wasn't a lot of business, so I feel they could have
3. The food was burnt at the pizza place
4. They had Nats everywhere. I feel like with no plates, they probably aren't keeping up on their dishes. I am guessing, but the Nats are a real problem. There were like 5 of them flying around us.
