I read a review about the cheesesteak sandwich that was so great so decided to try it. I have eaten here many times and never been disappointed. There was basically no meat at all on this sandwich! It was all big chunks of tomatoes, lettuce and gobs of mayo. I was unable to eat it. If it hadn't been so late in the evening I would have taken it back to them. Pizzas and other sandwiches are fantastic! What happened here?

Unbelievable! Been eating at christys for 50 years and today's experience was terrible. The crust is different, its chewy now, they don't put toppings on a deluxe anymore. I complained and some young dude from the back came out and said, and I quote, "see those little specks, as he nearly touched my pizza pointing at a little speck, those are sausage." I literally almost lost my mind. What happened Christy's? Seems they have sold out and left us with no more iconic memories of a great pizza joint.Gone are the days my friend sadly gone are the days.

Food is always good... Ordered two medium pizzas and a kids meal.. and it was 45$? And one pizza was just pepperoni and the other was a BBQ chicken.. seems like their prices are always wonky.. I love their pizza and don't mind supporting a small business.. just wish it was more affordable so we could be regulars here.

10/10 would recommend! We needed somewhere for our meet the team party for baseball. I got in contact with the owner & she was extremely accommodating and helpful, she really showed her support for the community with the accommodations. The food was ready and served correctly and at the time I requested. The staff was friendly, helpful, and did their jobs well and with great customer service!It was a great experience and will be definitely using them in the future for things like this and just for dinner!Kid-friendliness: The kids loved the pizza and the gameroom!
There were quite a few of the edge pieces burnt black. There was not much pepperoni.Won't buy there again !

If you are looking to place a large carry out order, save yourself the trouble and order from somewhere else. I placed a large carry out order days in advance be to picked up at 11:30am on the following Tuesday. Monday afternoon, I received a call from someone letting me know it would be closer to 11:45am when the pizza would be ready. With them having a few large orders at that time, 11:45am pick up was no problem for me. However, I still arrived at 11:30am just in case. I let the gentlemen at the front know I was there to pick up an order, and he said he was going to check on it. At about 11:45am, a woman walked around and asked everyone what order they were waiting for, she did not ask me, however. I assumed this was because I had already let someone know I was there. Finally, at 12:00, I asked for an update on my order. The woman who went around and asked everyone else about their order let me know it had been ready sitting in the warmer. When I let the woman know I had been waiting for 30 minutes, she didn’t really seem to care. I was late to the event I was providing pizza for due to the major lack of communication from this place. I will not be going back to this establishment. Others have let me know they have had similar issues with this place. Save yourself the trouble and order elsewhere.

Nice little hometown pizza joint. Fresh made dough is a huge plus.Food was good.No Alcohol sales.Would highly recommend takeout or DoorDash over dine in.Kid-friendliness: Lacks a true kids menu. But does offer items like grilled cheese, chips, and sandwiches if kids won't eat pizza
I had to go to Vandalia to pick up my hearing aides.rhis is right around the corner of the buildings .I had been wanting to try the pizza and go into the thrift shop below their restaurant as well .so I killed three bird in one day . stopping in for lunch after at Christie'sSo glad I did .the food was hot on point and delicious . generous toppings on my pizza and the service was excellent .the employees sure know how to make you feel warm and cozy and comfortable while you dine .Definitely will go back again soon for dinner or lunch ?
