I usually come here once a month and love the specialty donuts . Like the donut with bacon on top !! YES BACON on the donut . I believe it’s a Maple icing they use . It’s just out of this world yummy . I wish they made them on the week days also .. I feel the donuts are large and are made with love . The people working there are very kind . This is such a great place to come to at 5:00 AM and see the donut case filled with a variety of donuts . Best Donut Shop around this area !!

Their website says they are open 24 hours Friday Saturday and Sunday. I went to Vandalia from adjacent city at 8:30 Friday evening only to discover they were closed. I grew up in Vandalia and can testify they are not the company they used to be.

The chocolate glazed donut I had was very nasty . I have a taste for a good donut and the donut I had was not a good donut. It was dry, no taste, just horrible. Never going again🤢

Oh my word! I cannot say enough nice things about Jim's Donut Shop. I told my husband I had a craving for a donut, and neither of us wanted to try a chain donut place as we had been disappointed before. So we decided to give Jim's Donut Shop a try. I am so glad that we did! The variety of donuts and other breakfast Sweets were abundant! My husband is a fan of apple fritters and blueberry donuts, so I got those for him. The apple fritters are HUGE! I am a Bavarian cream donut girlie so I got that. Something else caught my eye that I had to try: the apple donut sandwich. Ohhh my good Heavens. Sooo scrumptious! The young lady helping me was such a delight. There were several patrons seated and enjoying their coffee and conversation as well. We will definitely consider this our donut shop!

LATE HOURS!! If its afternoon and you want a doughnut come here. I've never had a problem, reasonable prices with a reasonable wait. Fresh doughnuts daily with an amazing selection, parking is weird but you should be able to find a spot.
Been going here for years! Used to be the best! But for the longest time the apple fritters are always burnt and the others are just ok ! Today we try again and get a dozen twist and cream filled and also jelly filled! Just not good. And I got one lg. cinnamon with icing and nuts it was like a rock! Jim’s you need to do better or go under like the rest it way to much money for crappy doughnuts! And we drove to Ohio city or I would have brought them back!
