Kathy's Cakery and Treats

We ordered a specific cake for my son’s birthday party kind of last minute and she was able to fit us in. The cake was so soft and the buttercream wasn’t too sweet! It was fairly priced and turned out amazing! All his friends loved it! Thank you so much

Kathy does a fabulous job bringing your vision to life! She has done several cakes for us and some friends and family that we have referred. The feedback has been nothing but stellar and we are constantly asked by new attendees at a gathering where the cake is from and how they can get in touch. The most recent question was even from some out of town folks requesting if she ships! I should have written this a long time ago but now she has a store front open so take my word you will not be disappointed if you swing by for some of her treats!

They matched the cake design perfectly to the inspiration picture I sent them. We had white and chocolate cake, both were delicious. They definitely exceeded expectations!

The cake looked amazing! We asked for a cake that looked like the honey pot from Winnie the Pooh for my son’s first birthday and I was not disappointed! She did and amazing job with how it looked! Not only that the cake tasted wonderful, plus the cupcakes to go with were just as good! Everyone at our party asked where we got them and how the icing wasn’t too sweet and the cake was nice and moist! I would 100% recommend to anyone!

Delicious! A friend of mine had these at her daughter’s graduation and I had to ordered them for my daughters because they were delicious! Thank you!

My wife had called to ask about a German chocolate cake if they had any premade or what we needed to do instead of being professional polite. She was rude and said she couldn’t make something like that in an hour, which we didn’t need it for another four hours at least, but she decided to be rude so I would probably think twice if you’re looking for a birthday cake on the same day Because she can’t handle orders like that

First time customer-The cake had a wonderful flavor and texture. Very light and fluffy. Well decorated. The only negative-I ordered/paid for chocolate mousse filling and was not in the cake ? cupcakes were delicious but small compared to other bakeries that I have ordered from in past.

I ordered an 8-inch rapsberry cake and white cupcakes for my wedding. The cake was delicious and so were the cupcakes!!! I will definitely recommend Kathy's Cakery!!!

Kathy did a cake and 4 dozen cupcakes for my daughter's baby shower. The flavors were white almond and sour cream , lemon with blueberries, and lemon with raspberry. IT WAS AMAZING!! The deserts were loved by everyone. Looked as good as it taste. I will do all my events with her from now on

I didn't know this cakery was in Vandalia. My daughter turned 21 and I wanted a special cake with her favorite flower which is a sunflower. I did have a special request. I wanted almond extract added. She said she couldn't put it in the icing but can put it in the cake batter. She let me also taste her icing which I informed her that I really don't like icing. Well until I tried hers. This was the best cake we have ever had. I highly recommend this cakery!
