We absolutely love the food and atmosphere. That being said, I hate to complain however the bathrooms are totally disgusting.
I had the fish last night. best I've ever had. could have just eaten the tartar sauce with a spoon!. we love this place, it's a great addition to Wadsworth.
our pick up order was on time. the food was amazing. Jerk turkey sandwich and brisket sandwich were excellent.
Food was great and so was the service, but it’s a little pricey in my opinion for bar food— even bar food this good. Our lunch bill was over $110 with tip for three adults and one kid (appetizer, and 2 beers). I’d be more inclined to return as a couple or single diner. For example, the pretzel is great but costs as much as an entree ($14). $2 extra for fries with a burger? Come on… BBQ Burger was very good and so was Brisket hoagie, but next time I would ask for more sauce on side with hoagie.
Kid-friendliness: Environment was fine for kids in the middle of the day and the kids menu was reasonably valued.

Both the winter seasonal "Spicey Boy" and the Black & Bleu burger were delicious. We got one with the chips and the other with fries, both were house made, crispy, and well seasoned, and either would be a great choice! Their beer selection was great and we had a great time. There were so many game options, which were free since we were there on a Sunday. Highly recommend, the food was very good!

This place was great! We came with a group of 12 and they were quick, friendly, accommodating and the food was delicious. I tried the cheese curds, a couple chips with smoked buffalo dip, a large chunk of the Bavarian pretzel and beer cheese, a bite of pulled pork, the feta/beet spread, and the chicken pesto sandwich. The chicken pesto was my favorite but everything was so, fricken, good! 10/10 would recommend! Can’t wait to go back! Seriously! Great food and awesome atmosphere!
Kid-friendliness: TONS of board games for the kids to play while you converse with friends and family.
Wheelchair accessibility: Very accessible for anyone in a wheelchair or mobility scooter.

A wonderfully unique and refreshing twist on dining! All ages welcome to where every board and card game imaginable is available to play while you eat or drink. Monday through Saturday there is a $5 fee to play while there, Sundays are free. My wife and I went on a date and loved everything we ate! We started with their famous Bavarian pretzel which is flash fried and has an irresistible crunch that we couldn't resist finishing! We got the beer cheese for $2 which was good as well. My wife got the portabella burger which has pickled apples and onion jam on it. We opted out the vegan cheese and got normal. This sandwich had such amazing flavor I would definitely get it again. I got the gyro and with the owners being Greek was one of the most authenic tasting ones I've had. Their drink menu looked amazing and would love to try one the next time. A definite 10 out of 10 must eat and visit!

In the early 80s I was a nerd playing tabletop games like Dungeons and Dragons. If you had told me that someday bowling alleys would be going out of business, replaced by fine taverns featuring board games, I would have called you crazy.
Today Great Oaks Tavern proves me wrong.
We heard about Great Oaks Tavern at the Cleveland Gaming Classic because of its strong connection to board games and deck building games. We happened to be passing near Wadsworth around dinner time so we decided to check it out.
We all got burgers and other sandwiches, which we loved. I sought out foods and cocktails with game-themed names and was not disappointed.
The cocktails were well made, but it took quite a while for the first round to reach our table so we did not try a second round.
Overall a fun experience. We all plan to return someday.
Parking: The parking lot has plants of space and (in 2024) the pavement is in good shape. The lot could use a few more spaces with room for side wheelchair ramps.
Wheelchair accessibility: The dining room and bar have excellent wheelchair access. The unisex restroom entrances have turns that might be too tight for power chairs.

My boyfriend and I stopped here after going to a nearby sunflower field. We got the pretzel for an appetizer. The pretzel itself was good, but personally I wasn't a fan of the dipping sauces, which were honey mustard, spicy mustard, and beer cheese. I got the pesto chicken panini sandwich with fries and my boyfriend got the black and bleu burger. We both really liked our meals. Also we think the idea of having board games to play is a fun idea.
