We love the Inn at Walnut Creek and have stayed several times. Everyone is so friendly and we love sitting outside watching the horses. The only thing I will say is the walls really need painted in the rooms. I have noticed the last several times how bad the walls look.
I love this lodging. At first I was disappointed to find that our room was way in the back, down a short but steep driveway, but then I realized what a wonderful view we had from the parking area. Our room was very clean and the maid service kept it that way. There was plenty of room for two of us to spread out, and lots of places to set our belongings. There is a very nice meeting room with a huge tv and games, etc., but we did not have time to use it. The breakfast that was offered, and included in the price of the room was great! Lots to choose from. I appreciated the hot oatmeal! I would definitely stay here again. The location is very good, kind of in the middle of Ohio Amish country.
This was booked by 13 people going on Amish Tour. Very comfortable rooms, Space to spread out for each couple. Continental breakfast and a very large Gathering room for those who want to get together after a day of tours. A very central location is within easy walking distance to the shoppes and restaurants of Walnut Creek.
Pleasantly surprised with The Inn, there was ample room for us four lady friends, it was very clean, tv worked well, large fridge even though we didn't need it, the staff person who checked us in was extra nice, I liked the table and 2 chairs in the room, the bathroom was a little small but it all worked and that's a plus! The beds were a bit on the hard side even for me, and I like firm! Easy parking right in front of the room door AND the location was perfect! It was within walking distance of Der Dutchman restaurant, Rebeccas Bistro which was so yummy for breakfast, and other cafes and shops - and I would choose to stay here again, and surely hope to do so someday!
A clean and simple hotel. Central location for exploring Ohio Amish country. Good continental breakfast and walking distance to Der Dutchman for an excellent buffet. Friendly and knowledgeable staff are constantly working to clean and provide for their guests. Front rooms are a little close to the road so you hear a bit of traffic which is more than compensated by the clip- clop of the Amish passing by with a smile and wave. Recommended.
Have stayed here repeatedly over the years - great rooms, although very simple, and good management here! Staff is wonderful, especially Pam! Especially appreciated the room downstairs where we could watch the football games!
Quiet little town. Wonderful staff. Continental breakfast has something for everyone. Clean rooms. Will definitely be back!!!
Have stayed here for years. Love the quite and right in town. Girls are so helpful and nice never fail to answer any questions. Price is always right.
Always so friendly. We have been stay here sine 1978
Wife and I, both in early 70s, stayed here Friday night, November 27. Have stayed here in the past, and it's always been clean and comfortable. We were particularly concerned about cleanliness this COVID-19 year, and we were not disappointed. It was spotless.

You cannot ask for better accommodations. The motel and grounds are vary clean. the rooms are exceptionally clean and comfortable. The staff is friendly and welcoming. They have a very good continental breakfast with Amish pastries and breads. We love the Walnut Creek area.
absolutely gorgeous view! not to mention the place was very clean, the staff very friendly and wonderful complimentary breakfast
We loved our stay at The Inn at Walnut Creek! We stayed in Suite A and the accomodations were lovely, the staff was friendly and helpful and the breakfast was tasty . I highly recommend a stay at this place in Holmes County!
We really enjoyed our stay in a “cozy suite” at the Inn at Walnut Creek. These suites are located in the house next door to the Inn. Very clean and well kept. Pleasant and friendly staff at front desk. Our suite included refrigerator and microwave and coffee maker. (If staying in a regular room at the Inn, microwave is located in the common room downstairs.) Checkin desk and breakfast are at the building next door. During Covid restrictions, you may pick up your continental breakfast and carry it to your room or the common room to eat.) Continental breakfast during Covid restrictions included: hot oatmeal with toppings, cold cereal, sweet rolls, toast, coffee, tea, 2 juices, yogurt, hot cooked waffles & syrup, fresh fruit.
Disappointed in this Inn. Door jam broken; when trying to unlock room door was not latched and pushed right open. We had 2 flies in our room that bugged as all night. The bathroom is so tiny my knees hit the bathroom door sitting on the toilet. The beds were very firm, hard to me, and I woke up both mornings with back aches so bad I could hardly move. Breakfast was a joke. I was so looking forward to a good cinnamon roll or donut from a local bakery but my husband brought back two mini cinnamon buns in a baggy. They were store bought and dry; I have seen them in my local grocery store. I wrote a review on the Inn's website and owner's response was they have Amish made beds and they serve Amish baked goods for breakfast. I prefer a softer bed but I understand that's not what they have. The breakfast was NOT fresh Amish baked goods!! Also, if you like a darkened room to sleep you will not get that here. Curtains are flimsy. Our room was so bright at night it was like we had a light on in the room all night. We requested a room change for our second night. We requested the back side of the hotel. The bed was no different but the room was not as bright at night as the front side of the Inn. There are beautiful hotels very close to the Inn. We will spend a little more next time and stay at a nicer hotel.
