CharBenay's Wine on the River

First time there. Decorations were darling throughout! Prime Rib and Chicken Parmesan were excellent! Cranberry wine was perfect to celebrate the holiday season! And the band was awesome! Thank you Char! We'll definitely be back soon!

Great time

Had a reservation for 8. Arrived, there was no host/hostess. Had to check in with the bar and seat ourselves. Had to ask the bar for menus (only had 5). Sat for nearly half an hour without service before we decided that our business wasn’t wanted and left.

Very friendly staff, delicious hot peppers in oil with gluten free bread, and delicious wine. They also have white claw if you're not a wine drinker 😀

Concerning dining in, all the cost with non of the service. Order at the bar, food is dropped of, no condiments. Want mayo, ketchup, mustard, salt, pepper, go get it. Bacon sandwich, bacon cooked to oblivion, well you get the picture. All the cost of fine dining with none of the features. You may as well stay home and cook the food, not much more work. We'll at least they did not send me out for the bacon. Oh yeah, I forgot, after all of this you get to stand in line to pay. It is kind of like dining aerobics. P.S. I now wonder how many calories I could have burned sending a meal back.

This is an amazing hidden gem and worth a trip to Warren. I visited this place for the first time on Father's day for their Sunday brunch. The employees and musicians were so friendly making the atmosphere a whole vibe! The inside is beautiful and the bartender immediately inquired on our wine preferences then poured samples, without us even asking. We ordered and found a seat on their beautiful patio. Shortly after, our pasta dishes and salad arrived. It was more than enough food...delicious and reasonably priced. I can't wait to go back!

Had a fantastic dinner and great chat with Char, Ben, and chef Greg, which all made for a fantastic evening! Perfect mix of down home feeling and pure class!

I cannot say enough about this restaurant and its owners. We attended the Mother's Day buffet at CharBenay's yesterday. The owners paid attention to every detail. It was absolutely the most beautiful brunch and atmosphere. Food was good, staff was efficient and friendly, the live music was the perfect level of loudness, and beautiful, the restaurant was clean and decorated to perfection. The owners were there and walked around personally wishing the mom's a Happy Mother's Day, and handed out flowers. They also have an absolutely adorable gift shop. The price points are very reasonable and will not break the bank. We could not stop talking about it hours after we left. They even have plant based options here! I cannot wait to go back and enjoy music on the patio that they have every weekend. This place is the best kept secret in town. You will not regret checking this place out. Perfect for a special occasion or just a nice night out. Thanks Char for helping us have a great Mother's Day!

They had an amazing Mother’s Day Buffett. The atmosphere was great, the food was delicious, and the staff were very professional and kind. Would 10/10 recommend going here, and I will be back! :)

Went there for a bridal shower. The food was delicious and the space was beautiful for the event. If you are looking for a great place to hold a shower event, would definitely recommend!
