I used to work for this company as an overnight baker and it was a veritable hellscape. Where as normal Paneras often had 2-4 bakers depending on the store, Covelli Enterprises stores sought to reduce this by one. Solo-bakes are *very* difficult and stressful to pull off as it is... On top of that, maybe the general manager of your specific store is having a relationship with the Director of Bakers (who had such a massive ego that he put his name on the shirts you were forced to wear. "Ain't no business like the dough business" iykyk). Maybe that specific general manager thinks that she can blame every tiny inconvenience on the overnight baker, since she doesn't have to hardly interact with them and it is an easy excuse. The more I get into all of the silliness that I encountered/endured with this franchise (I would like to note that I worked at over 5 different Panera's, by the way) the more bitter I become.The good news is that I have heard whispers of them eliminating the baking position all together. So enjoy your frozen, microwaved bread sold for the same price! Yes! 16 dollars for half of a sandwich made with frozen bread and an 8 oz cup of cheese tortellinis that also come frozen and are microwaved (at your request).

6 Damn months I have been complaining, Hermitage Panera restroom is dark, only 1 bulb. Terrible business owner. Restroom filthy as has been for over 20 years.

Hermitage Panera location is trash. Coffee always empty, cold, full of grounds. Bathrooms never clean. Endless problems not addressed for over 20 years at this location.

Pathetic corporate greed. Worst ever Excuse for running restaurants..Wish I could post pictures I took of the $15 Panera so called chicken sandwich. Literally 3oz of highly processed sad excuse for poultry.They even remade it...I opened it up and left.Trying calling corporate but you can't even get an operator.I see a 1.9 rating....Your company is pathetic and take no pride in your products or in your customers

For what they charge, you would think they could get the order right after 2 trips. The first time I went I ordered a chicken salad sandwich toasted. They didn’t toast it and gave me tuna salad. I go all the way back to change it and still they didn’t toast it. They also really didn’t act like they cared.

I had a bad experience at a Panera in the Cleveland area. An employee who manages the catering ordering was so rude and unpleasant. The staff there is normally very nice.

One star because zero isn't available for Panera in Mooresville North Carolina. I like to have the warm bowls. They are never....NEVER...prepared the same way. Bathrooms are filthy with left over construction dust still present. Horrible.

I used to go to Panera all the time. A couple of time we were there on a Saturday, about 9:30-10 am. We would have like to get the souffles, but they were out. The manager said they were really busy earlier and sold out. If they were watching how they were selling, don't you think they would have put more in the oven. Next issue, who does your training of new hires??? They need to take a course on how to train. Market Street location in Boardman near the mall. My husband and I had dinner there two nights ago. We both wanted a little something sweet. I went and stood by the dessert case. Over by the registers were 3 teen employees talking amongst themselves. They saw me standing there, patiently. They all saw me, but continued talking, not even acknowledging me. The young boy pointed to the two girls, I asked "isanyone going to wait on me?" The two girls walked away. I looked at the boy and he did nothing. I walked away. About 5-10 minutes later the boy came out into the dining area and sat down with some girl. We left and got dessert somewhere else. I called the manager and told her. She gave me a fluff answer. "They are young and inexperienced". Do you teach your new hires NOT to ignore customers? If you do, they failed. I WILL NOT BE BACK

Bal Harbor, Fort Lauderdale location Place is not cleaned thoroughly and sanitized, especially the rest rooms. Head Manager is rude and disrespectful towards customers...stay away.

I haven't been at Panera in over 2 yrs because of customer service issue at that time (this location). Gave them another chance today. I should have known better. Ordered 1/2 Mediterranean Veggie sandwich. No pickle included even though I asked if it was and told yes. Here's what Panera menu says: INDIVIDUAL HALF AND WHOLE COLD SANDWICHES SERVED WITH A PICKLE • 5 CAL. What...no restaurant quality control monitoring to get standard order correct? Definitely an issue. Niles Ohio Panera location.
