The gluten-free and dairy-free quinoa bread was amazing. Perfect for the chicken and biscuit sandwich with habanero honey, mustard and pickles. They also had the corned beef hash and eggs also delicious and the espresso drinks were very good, We had a latte and the Mexican jumping bean which is a spicy Mexican chocolate with espresso. It was Sunday brunch and busy but the food came out really fast, and the service was very personable and friendly.

When you're gluten free you have to make concessions and baked goods are basically the biggest disappointment. This is no longer the case! The GF bread, biscuits, cookies and muffins of your dreams DO exist... at Cafe Avalaun!

The east side is so incredibly lucky to have Café Avalaun! Their food and staff are amazing. I always look forward to their pop-ups and love the daily specials! Such a special spot for the GF community.
