I purchased two meals today 8/29/25 @ 5PM but lately the food has lost its flavor over the past year. My rice and peas were BURNT. They have to have known but the served it anyway instead of making a new pot. The put the smallest portion of cabbage and it didn't seem fresh. They threw the plantains in a brown paper bag that leaked through. In all I spent less than $25 but I was VERY disappointed.

I went to this restaurant for the first time on 7/15/2025 because this restaurant was highly recommend by several friends. Needless to say I asked if I could order my food or do I need to call in my order oh boy shouldn't done that because the server was very nasty and rude. GOOD CUSTOMER SERVICE IS EVERYTHING!!!!

Very bad customer Service this is my second time coming here in both times the customer service was very terrible they man was very rude, he was touching peoples food without gloves, he didn’t want to give me the side that I paid for because he gave me the wrong side at first so I asked him to fix it and he gave me a hard time, they got flys flying around in there everywhere this is my last time coming here I would rather spend my money else where

Stopped in this place for lunch after searching for food nearby during the workday. Had I not googled, I would never have known this place was there, but what a hidden gem!! Service was pleasant, and the food (curry chicken) was exceptional. I’ll be returning for sure!!
EDIT: I’ve been here once a week since my first visit over the course of a month or so, and it has not yet disappointed.

Great food

I wanted some oxtails and they were not tender at all, they do give you a large portion of food and the price was very affordable.

Food is so good. I gotta save some for the ancestors.

It's closed with busted windows in the front

It should not take 30 minutes just to place an order. Then when I get to the counter I can only place 1 order of oxtails. Now I just wasted time! And the macaroni is horrible.

The old man that’s always there is super rude his presentation with the food is terrible he puts to much juice all over my other sides so I asked him to change it and he gave me attitude and talked about me to whoever was in the back . The portion sizes are not as they use to be . The staff that was there all left because of this one person food use to be worth the hassle with him but today was my last time … terrible terrible terrible I have family members all over going to this place not anymore !!! I told all my people not to ever go there again …

I have been eating here for over 15yrs!!! Mark the owner is welcoming and the food is always on point!!
