“My wife and I ate at Kerby's Diner a couple days ago. The staff was friendly, welcoming, kind and attentive to us!! The owner came out of the kitchen and greeted her customers with a smile so big that you couldn't help but love her!! The food was cooked to perfection!!! I had the perfect over easy (dippy) eggs, hash browns, sausage and bacon and toast I've had in decades (people today don't know what over easy means!). My wife had the steak omelet and loved it! Tender steak easy to chew!! I had a long conversation with Jody (Jodie?), the owner and she is kind, thoughtful and wonderful.. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND you go to her Diner and eat!! You will not be disappointed! Thank you Kerby's Diner for a great atmosphere and Deeee-Liciousss meal. We'll be back for dinner!!! Tell them Skeeter sent you!! Lol“

“Besides being only cash or local check this place is one of a handful still doing deep fried mushrooms and doing it well. I also had there bear burger and it was better than another place I'd been at that tasted like eating a wet sponge. But employees were nice, place was clean and my belly was full for around 10 bucks all in all win win.“

Y'all complaining about the flies...however...not one person said they got sick from the food...and don't be acting like you've never put something dirty or questionable in your mouths before....so kindly shut your mouths up... This post is an honest and real review... When we pulled in, we were unsure what to expect...but when that little sweet lady, Lori, greeted us...all my hesitations disappeared. I looked at my friend, and said...this chic is about to blow our minds!!! And I was NOT wrong!!! I compare the experience of Shokeys to an outside family BBQ. Is it summer? Is it hot? Are you surrounded by fields and farm animals? Of course there are flies...she is ONE person...running a business, running a farm, AND taking care of someone she loved very much while he was dying....sorry she didn't think to update her social media....How awful that you were inconvenienced. Hopefully you never have to go through something like that. Whenever we make it there.. we are welcomed like family....the food is so good....and the prices are unbeatable!!!! If you only think food is good if your in an upscale establishment, then go there. Shokeys is perfect as is.“
