We went on a Saturday in the afternoon and the restaurant was dirty. More than half the tables were not cleaned off. The food was cold and not tasty. Our server was okay. My friend for the beef tips and noodles and he liked those

When on road trips we like to stop at local restaurants. Unfortunately, we were extremely disappointed here. The service wasn't great. The food was less than mediocre. I ordered the breakfast skillet, which was tasty but cold. My husband ordered the country fried steak, mashed potatoes, coleslaw, and broccoli and cheese. The broccoli and cheese was so overcooked that it was unrecognizable and disgusting. I would NOT recommend this restaurant.

We visited for the first time on Saturday. The parking lot is tiny so it initially looked really busy when we pulled in. Was pleasantly surprised that it was not overcrowded and you’re allowed to seat yourself. We came around 830am. It did get busier right before we left. The waitress was very nice and attentive and the facilities were clean and charmingly old fashioned. The food is really good home-style food, but the biscuits were hard on the bottom. The prices of the meals weren’t bad but they did charge me $4.50 for about an eighth cup of gravy on the side when my dish came with gravy and it wasn’t enough (biscuit quality and gravy charge are the reasons for losing a star). All in all, I would visit again if in the area.

Got the biscuits and gravy NEVER will I ever eat here again the Gravy was gritty tasted like old bacon grease with a hind of sugar. Atmosphere very outdated. Service well she was their just not friendly seemed as if she was forced to do her job.
