First off the app wouldn’t let me complete my order. So I called into the store to place the order over the phone. I tried to order a meal, and I gave him the info for my sub, but then he just continued on, and didnt ask what sides I wanted. He said he just assumed I wanted chips and a drink. when I asked if I could get a 20oz bottle of Pepsi with my meal instead of a fountain drink, he said I couldn’t, I had to get a fountain drink. I’ve never been told this at any DiBella’s I’ve been to. It was a really unsatisfying experience and I ended up cancelling the order because this guy was ridiculous. Poor customer service, and he didn’t even get the location correct when he answered the phone, he said, thanks for calling DiBella’s in beavercreek. Even though I called the Centerville store. The guys name was Brent or Brett or something like that

This isn’t the first time I’ve had poor service at this location. This is just the last straw

What happened at this DiBella's, which was one of my favorite sandwich locations in this area? It seems management has changed the whole experience, and not for the better. Before, you could talk directly to the one preparing your sandwich on the way through the line so you could make sure you were getting what you want. Now you can only talk to the cashier, which leads to more mistakes in your order. They also seem more understaffed. The last two times I was there, I wound up walking out, the first because there was a long line, there was only one cook and the air conditioning was broken. The second time, there was only one cook and the air conditioning was broken again. Please, fix this place the way it was. I want to come back.

Bring back the glass bottles for catering orders. the plastic tubs are always broken on delivery, ruining everything in the bag, and a huge mess to clean up afterwards.

Poor customer service it was our first time there 8:16/25@ 8:10 pm. Girl at front desk was rude, i advised I was having trouble finding/accessing app. She offered no advice. she handed us our two 11” subs across counter with no bag, just the open wrapping. We had to request bag. I have not even tried food yet but I won’t go back

I ordered on-line for take-out. the process was easy and my order was ready when I arrived. My order was complete and just the way I wanted it. They did a very good job.

First time here. Ordered online for lunch. My food was ready within 10 minutes as promised. Overall the sub met expectations and had good flavor. My only critique is the sub bun is slightly too big in comparison to the meat. It also had an excess of lettuce. I would definitely recommend

This store is a mess. Ever since the old GM left things have rapidly deteriorated. I’ve been coming in weekly for years but that is probably ending. Shocking how fast have declined.

WTH has DiBellas’s done to this store? Very efficient ordering process replaced with very inefficient ordering at the register. Friendly staff who always had a smile and welcoming greeting replaced with people who didn’t even say hello or thank you. Grilled sandwiches were barely warm. Half the tables were dirty. Apparently trying to save money by having very little air conditioning. I typically visited this DiBellas’s once or twice a week. Not any more!

We live in a different state from the DiBella's at 1191 Miamisburg-Centerville Road in Dayton, Ohio, but we've made that place a priority visit when we've gone to visit family for several years. The disrespectful and uncaring service we received from the Shift Manager who reluctantly took our order and built our seven sandwiches the last time made it unlikely that we'll ever return, unless the restaurant's management make things right—I've written to them and we're awaiting a response.

The ordering experience was made miserable by the Shift Manager and the sandwiches she made were well below the usual quality we've experienced at DiBella's and not worthy of the restaurant's name or reputation.

As things stand right now, I cannot recommend DiBella's, but I may give the restaurant another chance, depending on how those who are senior to the uncaring Shift Manager respond. I'll be happy to update this post if I receive a response.

UPDATE: I received an emailed reply from a management level outside the Miamisburg-Centerville Road location within one day, which assured me that people at that level and the store's manager would look into what happened and make necessary corrections.

The response included an apology and a modest voucher to apply to a subsequent visit within 14 days. Of course, being out-of-state people who visit that area a few times a year, the voucher was a kind but somewhat empty gesture. The response also appeared to have been taken from an AI prompt or general script because it didn't mention any of the specific issues that we raised in our feedback. In any case, I hope they actually fix what happened because the food and service did not reflect our previous experiences with DiBella's and if that were my first visit, it would have also been my last.
