Farnsworth Cocktail Bar - Waterville, OH

First time to the cocktail bar and will definitely be back. Cocktails were fabulous, food was excellent and wait staff were friendly and quick with water refills and drinks
We sat on the patio the weather was perfect for dinner.

Impressive on every level. Nothing disappointing

Truly enjoyed the atmosphere, cocktails, and exceptional gumbo. Already looking forward to my next dining experience at Farnsworth!

Look online at the prices on the online menu, as they are not inexpensive. Once you appreciate what you will be committing yourself to, know that you will get great food and well prepared cocktails.

Royal Miyagi Oysters, raised off Vancouver Island in Baynes Sound and from Penn Cove Shellfish in Coupeville, WA are/were excellent. Mildly briny with a hint of kiwi-like delicately sweet finish.

The Vin Gris wine sauce used to sear the Sea Scallops was so good, we ordered bread service after to capture the remaining sauce, to let none of it go to waste.

Love the really unique and beautiful space.
The food is delicious and the cocktail and wine selection is amazing.

Good food, service, and cocktails

Oysters top notch. THE best burger in town, and it’s not even close.

Stopped in for a drink. So loud and echoy it's difficult to have a conversation, but yet you can hear people talking at the other end of the bar. Menu is very limited not really a place for dinner. Not much seating. Lots of floor space for some comfy chairs and sofas with rugs to help absorb sound. Seems like they are trying to to be a high end drinks bar but just aren't there yet.

We were excited to try this restaurant for the first time tonight. However noticed they had 5 entree options for dinner, two of which were sold out. After dropping off our entrees our server walked past our table multiple times without checking in with us, only returned when we were finished to take our plates, missing out on another round of drinks as well. We then requested desert to go and were told there were no more to go boxes, so we couldn’t get it if we didn’t want to eat it there. We then asked how we could take our leftovers and were offered a deli container after much discussion which realistically would have worked just fine for the deserts as well. Wanted to love this place, yet outside of the ambiance our experience left a lot to be desired sadly.

Cancelled our reservation we made 2 weeks ago, two hours before! Saying they were closed and their reservation service was down or some bs! Overpriced bad food anyway! Don’t go here

It was as the first visit for the four of us. We like to try newer places. We ordered four different cocktails and they were expertly prepared, presented and enjoyed. Stop in if you like a great cocktail. They know how to do it

Two Lobster Pastas and the Salad with Shrimp were a solid 5 stars. The Sirloin ..2 stars. Attractive and nicely cooked, it was very tough to cut and chew and totally without flavor. An upgrade on the quality of the beef is needed here.

Kelly was a knowledgeable and prompt server. She had a bit of edgy condescension in her manner and style. A bit of a softer approach would likely send her home with a bit more cash in her pocket each night.

Dessert? You must try the cheesecake. Kelly drizzled the chocolate over the dessert like an artist and left us extra to use if we liked

If you have not been here I would recommend that you visit and share your thoughts. This restaurant/bar deserves to thrive .

This place is a hidden gem and a must try. Best oysters in NW OH and food is awesome. Cheesecake is so damn good. Drink menu is a plus!
