It's sad. Dairy Queen used to be decent. The 3 stars is for the fries and curds, not bad, not great. But the burger, even though fresh and juicy, just tasted so artificial. Price wise, it's on par with all the other fast food joints in town, $15 for a "regular" fry, a "regular" cheese curd, and a double cheeseburger.
Since the Toledo Metro area doesn't have Dairy Queen, this is our closest spot to get the old standby. It was one of our dog's favorite places on earth. The chicken fingers basket with country gravy is our typical standby on our way to and from visiting family.
Kids loved their meals. Cheeseburgers and chicken strip basket. Solid hits after working. Their blizzards were also a big hit, and I couldn't believe how good their fries and onion rings were. I'm gonna blame dq when I put on 20 pounds from onions rings.
