Believe me when I say Special Grounds is hands down the best coffee shop around! We’ve been big fans since the first day they opened their doors. Their mission, high quality beans, delicious coffee, and plentiful yummy food options has never disappointed. Not to mention, the employees are always full of joy and kindness. I wrote a previous review and you asked me to be specific about the pastry that I ordered that I wasn't completely happy with. I had the Shortbread Tart. I found the piece to be quite small and unsatisfying. The filling was extremely soft and too rich for breakfast. I think as a dessert it might be better but I had it as my breakfast. I just chose the wrong thing for me. I'm looking forward to trying other pastries.

I love special grounds! The drinks and baked goods are fantastic!! They offer bags of beans you can take home, or give as gifts, and they'll even grind it for you fresh off you funny have a grinder at home. I love trying a new treat each time I'm there because they always have an awesome selection of scones, cookies, muffins, pies, tarts, cakes, rolls, etc. Everything I've ever gotten here was soooo yummy!! The service is always great - friendly and helpful. The location is great for meetings with clients or friends, and perfect for working on your laptop. The best part is that it's a non profit that supports local youth. Great coffee and a great cause. I love it!!

Phenomenal coffee at an amazing price combined with warm service!! Highly recommend.
Usually I love going but when I got to their truck at 7:10am this morning, another female I I waited in the cold and no one even acknowledged us. We both ended up leaving. Someone should have at least opened the window and told us that there was a delay or something rather than keep us waiting in the cold.

Excellent coffee and pastries. Locally roasted and ground, the coffee is flavored well and is better than any of the chain coffee houses. The pastries are locally baked. While we took ours for take out, the seating area was well lite and very comfortable looking.
