It was a Saturday night and Hero's had a live rock band. They were so bad that I thought my ears were going to bleed before my food was served. You know it is bad when one cannot recognize a popular song,but if you listened real close to what might have been a melody, one could eventually figure it out. The service personnel were great and the told me the band gets better the more you drink. She certainly had a sense of humor. As far as the food, it is difficult to mess up fries and onion rings. Unfortunately, they did not offer hamburgers or nachos as they had advertised on the billboard posted as you pull into the parking lot. We also ordered pizza, which came with only one topping. Had to check twice to make sure I was NOT eating the cardboard box doubling as the crust. Needless to say, 3 square pieces of pizza were sampled and the rest went home to the dogs. The Band ran us out of the establishment by 9 pm. Sorry Hero's, your staff was great, but it would appear they had very little to work with given how Management tied their hands with questionable decisions.

This is our favorite spot in Waverly. The owner and employees make you feel like a regular right as you walk in. Just as much as their cute dog, Cooper. There's plenty of space to bring groups or host get togethers. They have dart boards = pool tables. The pizza is fire and you can't beat the prices. Great local place to support.
