Brass Monkey Bar & Restaurant

We just had the best experience at Brass Monkey. I had the Bourbon Chicken Bowl and my husband had the Braciole. The food was fantastic. I don’t know who is cooking the food tonight, but they sure know how to cook chicken! Our server Tesla was so friendly and attentive. Highly recommend!

Spent too much time in NY and arrived after 9PM... didn't account for small midwest towns just shutdown earlier.

We sat at the bar, had a couple drinks and chatted with the bartender. It was pleasant and reasonable priced. Next time we just need to arrive earlier. 😎

Last night (01/24/2025) was our 1st time at Brass Monkey and it was a good experience.

Service was a little slow, but polite. Food was good. We got the brussel sprouts🌱 and mushroom🍄 appetizers.

The Mrs got the Ruben and I got the grilled pork tenderloin sandwich🥪... both came with really well done fries🍟.

We're heading back next Tuesday to checkout their Euchre game night.

Our family loves Brass Monkey

My service was phenomenal. Rayce or maybe its race, did a PHENOMENAL job. He was my bartender. Apparently one of the “co owners” was here & was speaking very rudely to Rayce. I just want to come on here and say that the staff was absolutely amazing & the owners should be THANKFUL that they have such a great staff. Very disappointed to see one of the owners treat his staff so poorly.

Was passing through and likes the name. We went in around 8 pm on a Saturday. When the place wasn't packed should have been our first clue. Server was great. Food was ok. But I wouldn't go back if I was passing through again

we had the French onion soup was very disappointed. onions tasted an looked burnt also not many in there, cheese was just a small ball of it in the bottom of the bowl. waiter did offer to get us something else he could tell we were disappointed in it.so won't try it twice

Brass Monkey is beautifully decorated and makes use of its well thought-out theme with an interesting menu. The drinks were delicious and well made, Id recommend going here off of the drink experience alone. The food however just fell flat of my expectations, providing only a moderately satisfactory experience. The southwestern roll was tasty but felt thrown together and thoughtless, essentially just fried pucks covered in sauce served with a side salad? It wasn’t bad just kinda weird. I had the brass burger as my main entree, the fries were really good and crispy but the burger could have used lettuce and tomatoes as it quickly became boring to eat. The ingredients were good quality and cooked well, and overall I was content with my food.

I can’t say enough about The Brass Monkey! The staff is always super friendly and their burgers are always delicious and full of flavor.

Last night we were served a terrible meal....steak was too salty, brocolli was cold...pork shop thick, but so fatty...young man was excellent as a waiter, but two previous meals were excellent!
