Sonora Mexican Grill - Waverly

It was our first time here so not sure how this place normally is.
The food was decent not mind-blowing by any means but not terrible.
The service was impeccable!
The atmosphere was depressing. It was like eating in an over decorated doctor's office waiting room. Terrible florescent can lighting which was bright but not the good kind. Get some dimmable, warm led bulbs please. There was no music so it was awkward listening to people's conversations and forks clanking on plates. We played music on our phone to make it somewhat festive.
No ambiance what so ever.
The table was sticker than a bar floor at 2am, not sure why, but our napkins ripped when we grabbed them off the table. 🥴

Food was excellent but the entire place was empty when we got there for lunch. It was our first time. The parking is only beside or behind the building. Only one other table came in while we were there. It was weirdly silent, no music or background noise. Margarita was good. Waitress was friendly. Portions are huge.

My wife and I love going to Sonoras for dinner. The food is delicious with generous portions. The staff is friendly, we love Bella. The atmosphere is fun and welcoming. The prices are very reasonable. I love the tacos on taco Tuesdays and my wife loves the street tacos. Sonoras is the best Mexican restaurant that we have had the pleasure of eating at. I strongly recommend trying Sonoras.

Spectacular!! Best salsa ever! Food was super delicious. Waitresses were also super nice. Will definitely be back.

Had a great time here with the family. Can not fault anything. Service was great, and the food matched it. Recommend the Queso, everyone loved it.

We had a great meal and Sonora's. Miranda salad with carnival recommended by our awesome waitress Crystal. Highly recommend. Flavor easy so good it didn't need the delicious dressing that was supposed to go in it. Brought the dressing it home for later.

The food was delicious, and very affordable. We had a great waitress today as well.

I've been waiting for Sonora's to have Horchata, and they finally do, though only temporarily. If they do not put this on their menu as a permanent item my disappointment will be immeasurable, and my day ruined

We'd started our evening at a different restaurant, walked out after being ignored, and came to Sonora Mexican Grill. I'm glad our circumstances led to the discovery of this place!
Sonora was about twice as busy as the other place, but quite capably handled all the customers. It felt relaxed and friendly there.
Our diet is vegetarian, and the waitress was very kind to spend a little time with us to help recommend some dishes, and certain items to leave off or substitute.
The meal itself had enough to make leftovers for lunch the next day! The veggies were cooked perfectly, retaining their fresh colors and a little crunch. Bonus points for the various hot sauces at the table!

But the service lately isn’t great waitress on FaceTime talking as she barely greeted and seats us
last 2 times was not checked on till we was done eating
