This place used to be great 10 years ago, but unfortunately, the price point no longer matches the quality of the food or service here. Over $50 for a large pizza, breadsticks, and a gyro is fine, but only if the food is great. This time, it was so disappointing. The gyro had about 3 very thin, obviously prepackaged gyro meat slices on it. I never received the chips that were supposed to come with it, and I didn't realize until I made it 15 minutes back home. VERY minimal toppings and so little alfredo sauce and cheese on my white pizza that all I could taste was the spinach and bread. Sorry to say I won't be coming back here unless I hear they're making pizzas like they used to again.

They make their own bread, and your mouth will start watering just at the sight of your hoagie. The pizza is also great, with a wonderful end crust.

Every bite was delicious!
While spending an afternoon perusing the shops of downtown Waynesville, we remembered our friends telling us about this great pizza place that we should try—Bentino's!
And we are so glad we stopped in!!
We tried and Gyro and added Feta — Delicious!
We also tried a pep, sausage, and onion Calzone — Excellent!
We ordered a small Veggie Pizza, add green olives and spinach — Fantastic! Great crust!!
And we ordered a Steak sub with cheese, onions, banana peppers, mushroom gravy, and pizza sauce — also Delicious!
Great customer service, very friendly! Restaurant was very clean!

Today's food was great. My order was taken and served in a timely manner. After that, service became very lacking. I sat at the bar and was the only patron dining in.
Another person came in, sat beside me and was ignored for a long amount of time. With the bar in close sight and plain view from the kitchen/prep area, it still took both of us calling to that area to get someone's attention. I was not brought my bill at any point of the duration of my visit, and had to ask for it, again with lack of attention from the prep area.
Charging a fee for credit/debt transactions may seem needed, but it is not acceptable or fair. Because of that, although it's not fair to the servers, I am subtracting that fee amount from my tip with any place doing this now.
It's within your control to opt for those charges.
$3.49 is also an excessive and unfair price for a fountain drink when other establishment charge up to a dollar less ... and especially when yours is a self service station.
Pizza is good. Cheezy fries were good. Prices are high.

Was dining in from out of town. Sat down, was not greeted and again, like other reviewers, I was ignored. So finally got up and ordered to go, by the same person who ignored me. He told me a total, then the amount was more due to a credit card charge. I asked how much it was, he said not much. So never actually had my question answered. The calzones were good. The bread sticks were not at all good. Idk what it was. But if you order, just phone it in or get it to go. They didn't appear to want our dine in business. Maybe not even our business at all. I wish this could be five stars.
