We arrived and were ignored for the first 15 minutes. There were 3 servers and 5 occupied tables in the restaurant.
We actually moved tables and sat at the new table for 3 minutes before I set a 5 minute timer. 3 minutes later, with 2 minutes remaining on the timer, we were FINALLY greeted.
The waitress arrived and stated that she would get us menus and took our drink order, repeating everything back to us. This is a GOOD thing. She returned, bringing us chips with salsa, drinks but no menus.
She realized the error and stated she was going to get the menus. Instead of returning, she went into the kitchen and began assisting other tables and socializing.
Around 10 minutes later, she returned with the menus. She asked if I wanted a fresh tea. I said yes, but please bring a sweet tea and water. She then told me that they did not have sweet tea, even though she repeated my original order of sweet tea back too me and never told me they did not have sweet tea.
She returned promptly with the tea but no water. She asked if we were ready to order yet. We literally had the menus for less than 3 minutes. We stated no. She left.
She began doing other things for roughly 7 minutes, before finally returning. She had to turn around on the way back in order to get the forgotten water and a tea. My husband was not yet ready to order, so she left again.
My husband was finally ready to order after a minute or so and we set the menus down.
We then sat and waited and waited and waited. Five minutes, ten minutes, 14 minutes now - with no sign of our waitress.
We then got up and left.
This was, without a doubt, one of the WORST experiences I have ever had in my 47yrs in a restaurant.
I could never rate the food - we never had a chance to try it. The menu is extremely small with very limited options. The tea looked like cloudy, muddy water. The chips were going stale, but the salsa was really good.
The service though, was absolutely horrendous.
If I was able to leave zero stars, I would.
Very, very disappointed. What a shame.
We went to a neighboring restaurant and had a phenomenal meal and service at that establishment.
Do not waste your time here.

Oh my! The food was so delicious and the chimichangas were HUGE!! My burrito was the biggest I have ever seen. The server was friendly and attentive and our orders were correct! The prices were a little high but the portions really were huge.

Took the family here and it was AWESOME. The restaurant itself is super nice inside. Server was friendly and polite. Food is A+. Highly recommend the Baja fish tacos. Best fish taco I've ever had! Will be back!

The food was so good, and my horchata was yummy and refreshing! I like the atmosphere here too. Glad we finally checked it out! 👍🏼👍🏼 Only reason I docked a star on service was because when my boyfriend asked for a refill, the waitress mistakenly got him a glass of water instead of the pop he ordered.

We absolutely love Mami Finas! Not only is the atmosphere perfect the food is also amazing! The Owner Jorge is such a great guy and we are so lucky to have a restaurant that treats us like family! Highly recommend!

Well AC did not work. The cheese sauce for queso was obviously from a can. The rolled tacos were small and did not taste good. Service was not attentive to needing drinks and chips and a bill. Overall we won't be back

No one at our table liked the salsa. My water had a weird taste to it. The couple of people who ordered margaritas, said it was just juice. When asked they said they toned down the alcohol cause a few patrons said it was too much, and my friends said they couldnt feel anything after a few of them. Music was unbearably loud, we had to shout to the person next to us. And the band ran over by 15minutes. No one in the group wants to go back.
The food was fantastic. The birria sliders were amazing. The service on the other hand was lacking. Had to ask 3 or 4 times everytime we asked for something. A straw, a drink, to go boxes. There were 2 couples in the place so it wasn't like it was busy. Our waitress was too busy talking to the other staff. If the service was better def would have been a 5 star.

Really wanted to like this place, but the chilaquiles I ordered were extremely salty to the point that I couldn't finish them, and the carnitas in them were dry like they had been sitting all day.

We're riding the OTET and stopped for lunch and had guacamole and tacos. Friendly staff, easy to park bikes. We definitely recommend anyone riding the OTET to eat here for lunch or dinner
