We had a great lunch here. I enjoyed my grilled cheese sandwich (simple, but did the job). My friend got a delicious white bean soup.

Bonus elements: 1) Gluten free menu available; 2) super friendly service; 3) Fast kitchen.

Parking was available- small lot, and also easy to park in the street.

I’ll have to come back to try the “Beef HotShot,” which is reputed to be a specialty of the restaurant…. Something about...

I don’t think I will be back. Although the server was friendly, service was very slow. We paid almost $17.00 for meatloaf and green beans. There was one side included which I chose soup! Never realizing or was told this was considered an uprgraded side for $4.33? And it was cabbage and beef? No rolls or anything included. I was just blown away. Never ever will I be back!

Unpretentious, it is exactly what you might expect in a small town, independently-owned, comfort food American fare place to eat. Why not more stars, you ask? It was a pretty long wait from order to food, and they committed the unforgivable crime of forgetting the bacon I ordered on my chicken sandwich. 😉 They might consider putting just a teeny bit less sauce on it as well; the bun feel apart halfway through the process and I needed several napkins.
