My whole extended family has ate Danells pizza since they started in South Amherst. Always our favorite pizza. We were sad to hear of Dawson's retiring. But we ordered pizza last week and it tasted like a danells pizza! It's the best.

This pizza place is where we grew up getting pizza from. Family-owned and operated, it is a staple to the little village of Wellington. Yet, this is no small-town tasting pizza. This pizza is, arguably, some of the best around. People who have had pizza all over the country have told me that they have never had a pizza like DaNell’s. The sauce is my favorite. Not acidic at all and absolutely delicious. Get the pizza, the breadsticks, and the foldover. Amazing place, even better people.

Wife called and ordered a supreme, a pepperoni, and a cheesy bread for pickup. They forgot to make the pepperoni so they knocked some money off, good on them for that (I do give them 4 stars for service for making their mistake right). However doesn’t excuse absolutely trash food. All inedible, half a slice and one piece of the cheesy bread and it all went in the garbage. Toppings wouldn’t stay with pizza and crust was undercooked. Barely any sauce. Won’t be back, as there are definitely better options in the area like Lorenzo’s in Oberlin and Lagrange Village pizza.
