Nice mom & pop diner in West Salem.

I like trying out little country restaurants, and I happen to be in the area so decided to try it out. I definitely wasn’t disappointed! I got their farmer breakfast and would recommend it to anyone looking for a good hearty breakfast. If I’m ever in the area, I will be stopping in again.

Had an impromptu “linner “ while passing thru. It was in between the lunch rush and early dinner crowd so we were the only ones there which would usually be a concern but not in this case. Went with the recommended house meatloaf and mashed potatoes with gravy. It was wonderful and the portion size was generous. Wish I lived closer because there were many specials that piqued my interest. Someday I’ll get back there,

Stopped off at the Cornerstone, A quaint place from outside, nice interior and lots of fun signs/decor. The food... WOW! Like the best rueben & mashed potatoes! Loved our lunch and Sonya made sure we had everything to make it just delicious. Kudos to the cook!

For the last 4 years I have gone to the races for the weekend at Dragway 42. I stop and eat at the Village Cornerstone every day I am there. The food is awesome and the only thing better than the food is the way the girls that run it make you feel like you are family. Like I told them last weekend, it is my favorite restaurant, unfortunately it is 360 miles from my house. I look forward to seeing you all next year. Thanks again. 👍🏻👍🏻
