Giving credit where credit is due to small businesses is something I have always felt very strongly about. This time it is all about Terry Young and Isaac Young and the crew at JT’s Stovetop BBQ …. Not only is it our go to when we head to our cabin because of their PHENOMENAL food, but the staff at JT’s always seems to be the friendliest Interactions of my day. If you all are in the area, be sure to give this gem a try! I HIGHLY recommend just about EVERYTHING on their menu but my favorites are right here in this picture. The foot longs are some of the best I’ve ever had. Not sure if that sauce is their own secret recipe or what but it’s like nothing I’ve ever tasted. Also the pulled chicken and Green beans! 🤤.
Give them a try and let them know Mr. Wash sent ya!! From one small business to another, I can say this one should win awards for the food and friendly staff!!

Oh my word, who would have thought a tiny little building could put out such big flavor!? We were visiting from Michigan and I was on my way to Walmart and I seen the little building with a sign saying rib dinner $12. So I thought on my way back, I'll just grab a bite to eat and I won't have to cook later at the Airbnb. Just walking up to the stairs I could smell the flavor. And I have such a large selection of side dishes. So I got my rib dinner went to the car opened up the tray and the smell of barbecue ? I have been to a lot of barbecue places, both top and low dollar. This one beats all of them! And I will tell you another thing the next time I come back to this area I'm definitely getting me a meat platter! So if you decide to stop and visit, my recommendation is the rib dinner with a side of baked beans and mashed potatoes with a nice large sweet tea! $12! That price beats fast food prices! And I stood there less than 3 minutes. Oh, they definitely smoke those ribs before they barbecue them ??????????
the chicken sandwich was kinda bland in my opinion. onion rings and baked beans were ok but. nothing special .my first time here. I may try the BBQ if I ever try it again.

The people who run this establishment is just as awesome as the food they prepare. 10 stars all around. You can beat the quality AND the portions for the price. Nothing around compares. First off it's carry out only and they going pressure you upfront for a tip. The fries hard brisket tender. I didn't care for baked beans or slaw. I am not sure if I tipped
One of my absolute favorite places! Wish I could give more than 5 stars. The people are super nice. And the food is some of the absolute best food, it’s always served at the perfect temperature. Best green beans and baked beans ever, the green beans especially, tops any steakhouse or bbq joint I been to. The pricing is great as well. A hidden gem ?

Amaaaaaazing melt-in-your-mouth brisket!! I had sides of coleslaw and Mac & cheese - they were fresh, flavourful and homemade. The coleslaw has a great little kick of horseradish or something. It was so good!! Thank you! ?
