The Pier 11 in Whitehall Ohio has started adding a 15% gratuity service fee to eact customers bill even for one person, even though their menu states that an automatic gratuity will be add to the 4 patrons and up bill. Not sure if the waiters are being paid a minimum wage or not, but the manager stated that the new practice was posted even though it is not.

Very relaxing atmosphere, nice portions of food, great location, and best of all, was the service. Very easy and accessible parking.

I just sat in this establishment for over 25 min without being spoken to or getting any assistance there was one server who was clearly overwhelmed she came by dropped waters off said she would be right w me and still took 10-15 more min And the owner or manager is just sitting around watching tv I asked for my food to be compt for poor service he refused going to get a crab boil elsewhere absolutely terrible service and I don’t fully blame the waitress maybe y’all need to hire more help or actually help your employees out very dissatisfied

This was one of the best seasoned seafood boils I have ever had. I got the old bay seasoning medium hot. The corn and potatoes were cooked but not mushy. The sausage was very good and of course the crab legs and shrimp were perfect. Well done, well done.

We drove an extra 15 minutes to come to this Pier 11 since the Pickerington location closed. The food was delicious as always but the service was poor, the server had an attitude, acted like she didn't want to be there. I had to ask for enough plates and forks for our party. We had to ask two or three times for the same thing, then she never checked on our table again and my fiance never got a refill on his drink. Seeing as we spent hundreds of dollars and drove out of our way, we're pretty disappointed with the service. That server needs to check her attitude, her job isn't that difficult and we weren't asking for much at all. The owner has always been kind, we've always liked him, and it's unfortunate he has an employee like that.
We do not remember the servers name.

This is our new favorite seafood boil spot! The Pier 11 sauce is the perfect mix of all the sauces they offer.

Went there Saturday I had shrimp, sausage, corn potatoe, noodles, and a boiled egg with pier 11 medium sauce. It was delicious. I will be back...

Delicious food and the waitress was very helpful with recommendations and attentive. We loved our time here but I gotta say the lighting was a little weird. Oh well, the food made up for it ten times over. Crab legs were my favorite.

Food was raw and undone. Manager was rude, disrespectful and unprofessional about it. Workers were very unprofessional as they were play fighting in front of customers. 0/10 wouldn’t recommend.
