She always got back to me quickly and made sure our breakfast happened when I was nearly forced to cancel due to hotel policies. Brandon, the delivery driver, was amazing and had a great sense of humor when it came to sneaking a corporate breakfast into our hotel lobby. The sandwiches were perfect and made it easy for everyone to eat and mingle with each other, and despite not being a vegan myself, I thought the vegan muffins were really good!

25 years ago, my wife and I were married. Normandy was there. Just a few weeks ago, we celebrated our Silver Anniversary. Again, Normandy was there.
Long story short, we moved onto a new street maybe a year before our wedding. New homes were slowly going up on neighboring lots and that sense of community was just beginning. We were invited to a Christmas party at one of those new homes . . . and it turned out the hosts were Linda and Sandy Carmigiano, the founders of Normandy. The food was great, the presentation excellent, and Linda and Sandy as welcoming and gracious as you could ever ask. As a young couple, we couldn't believe we managed to get invited to such an incredible party!
Fast forward to wedding planning. When we started, there very few knowns -- we didn't even know the church, as our home parish was under construction. The only thing we were certain of was that we wanted our reception to be held on a piece of lakeside family property. We knew off-site catering presented its own challenges and we knew we needed help -- so we called Linda.
Our reception went off without a hitch. The food, the service, the bar service, the music, the cake (all provided by or arranged through Normandy's connections) . . . it was all top notch.
Since that time, we've worked with Normandy for Christmas parties, grad parties, fundraisers -- events both big and small -- and were never disappointed.
Now, here's the hook -- and it isn't even the fantastic job that Normandy did with the off-site catering for our 25th Anniversary. See, in the course of our relationship with Normandy, we got to know Jim Carmingiano, Linda and Sandy's son. Jim has been our main point of contact for some time now as the torch passed from one generation to the next.
One week after our anniversary, we were set to host a fundraising dinner at our home for ten guests. Not just any dinner, this was a multi-course dinner and it was dear to our hearts -- we raffled it off to raise money for a foundation named in honor of a friend and colleague taken by cancer.
Jim put together an outstanding menu -- a cheese course, a salad course, an appetizer course, sorbet, pasta, fish and a finisher of wagyu steak to be flown in that week. Friday came and my wife and I spent the day getting our place ready for guests to arrive at 6 p.m. We finished up in time to get ourselves ready, but around 5:15 p.m. it occurred to me the catering truck hadn't arrived.
A bit panicked, I called Jim. His wife answered. "We have it on the schedule for tomorrow, but let me get Jim" she told me. I checked the contract; sure enough, neither of us had notified Normandy when we changed the day from Saturday to Friday.
More panicked, my mind raced to what I was possibly going to tell my wife and our guests. Then Jim called: "I'm getting dressed, we'll be there in an hour."
Somehow, some way, Jim gathered his unsuspecting crew (one young man got the call in the middle of buying shoes) and had them to our house in an hour. Half an hour after that, food was being served. Not just any food, but absolutely phenomenal food. The pasta dish, for instance, with twenty-some kinds of mushrooms, was, without question, the best pasta dish I ever ate. Several guests said the same.
At the end of the evening, we asked Jim to introduce each member of his crew -- everyone who worked so hard on such short notice to make the evening a success. And to Jim Carmigiano, Heidi Carmigiano, James Thornton, Ashley Makar, Thomas Makar, Stacy Caprinolo and Jack Sumrada, I'll say now what I said then, "Thank you, from the bottom of our heart!"

We had an outdoor dinner party for my daughter. I woke up with Covid & it was looking like rain. It felt like we should cancel the party which would be devastating to my daughter. We had added a server to help. What a blessing ‘Jack’ was! He came in, set everything up. He had flowers for the table & different size crates to make the display beautiful. The food was absolutely amazing! We were not sure what to expect not knowing anyone who had used them! The charcuterie board was to die for! The bruschetta was amazing as well as the bruschetta chicken. Surprisingly, the first thing to go was the green bean almondine, even the little kids were eating that. I will definitely be using them again and know others at our event plan to as well.
