Order a large pizza asked for extra sauce no extra sauce pizza was dry and the mushrooms looked like it was just thrown on the pizza, won't be ordering a pizza again

Stopped for a quick bite on the way to a high school volleyball regional game and I will have to admit this place was absolutely amazing. Food was very tasty and filling. You aren’t going to leave hungry from here for sure!!! We split an Italian sub and chef salad and we didn’t finish either. Great service very polite and quick. Will definitely have to go back to try more of the food. I can see why it’s a local favorite ❤️

Service was poor, l feel it's probably a training issue. Servers need to have a set standard for serving the customers. First in first out. Ask for appetizers when taking drink orders. Follow up with food order, and touch base with customer to see how the food is and if they need and refills etc.. When they see a customer isn't eating their meal it should trigger the question what is wrong. When they are told at the end why it was not eaten their automatic response is we don't give refunds, which told me they lacked good training, the fact they don't bring silverware until you ask for it reinforces that. If they master the service skills it would be a nice place to eat a simple meal at.

Food was okay. The service I received from 2 of the girls that work here is 0/5. They don’t have proper service manners. Every server I encounter before today has been great but not the girls today. Terrible service.

I want to say what great service and food we had at the Varsity Club . June 29th was the service for my mothers funeral. Several family members went there after the service. Our server was Jessica. She was fantastic. Every meal was delicious and received quickly. 20 people and we did not have a reservation. We could not have had a better experience. I definitely recommend the Varsity Club. Jessica thank you for being such a sweet person and an exceptional server. Well done Varsity Club!

The Firecracker Burger was delicious and the fries were great too. Prices seem reasonable and I'll definitely be back

Order food actually... burgers are normally good ordered two firecracker burgers very little sauce or any ingredients

So, this past Sunday, 15 June 2025, I was making my way east along U.S. 224, when I got hungry. Not wanting to stop at a chain restaurant, I wanted something local. I found one place in town, but I decided against it as it wasn’t something that I was looking for (a burger and a beer). As I was just leaving town, I came across Willard Varsity Club. WOW! Was I ever happy that I stopped, this was the place I was looking for! I ordered the Texas Rodeo Burger, cooked medium-rare, order of fries, and a PBR. Fantastic! The burger was cooked perfectly! Even had a second PBR! Great staff, great service, fantastic food! Highly recommend!
