I have been to other Applebee's restaurants before but none of them were as bad as this one. Our server was nice but she was preoccupied with another party and trying to work as bartender at the same time, so
she was not able to be attentive to us for our order or drink refills. We sat there for a good 20 minutes before our order was taken. I got wings (chewy and overcooked) and the salad ( I had to pick out brown lettuce) and my husband got the ribs (overcooked). I'm glad this was just a random stop for lunch while we were traveling. I do not recommend this location.

Placed an online order at 6:20, said it would be ready at 6:59, mind you this was for curbside, the order said completed on my phone so i wasn’t even able to use the curbside abilities and had to go in to get my order, i waited around 5-10 minutes and was greeted by a host, told him i had an online order and gave him my name, he went back to the kitchen then came back out without my order, mind you it wasn’t busy at all, there was maybe only 4 tables sat, i then proceeded to wait an additional 25 minutes when i was finally greeted again by someone else and i told them i had an online order and i had to wait another 10 minutes for them to come back out with it, when i got back home which was right down the road, the food was cold. completely unhappy with the service, and frankly one of the worst applebee’s experiences i’ve had.

Stopped in Tuesday August 19 drenched from rain with a handicapped child. Waited no one was around the place was essentially empty so we went to a bar table and was impolitely told we had to be seated. We left and will never go back there

Went for happy hour, overall everything was good and server Racheal was excellent. Only concern was that when we came in wasn’t no host, it took a good 35-40 minutes for someone to finally come and seat us.

Food took forever they gave my food to someone else then tried to give to me after they ate a piece. Part of my sandwich typing was not available and they said nothing! The server was great trying to fix things but manager acted like it was my problem

I was excited to sign up for The Club. I was told I would get a free appetizer if I spent at least $15. I signed up. My bill was $40. They told me after the bill I couldn't use my free appetizer code because it wasn't 24 hours from when I signed up. Applebee's PLEASE PUT THAT ON YOUR WEBSITE AND TRAIN YOUR STAFF. Very misleading.

Felt totally ignored by the nearly non existent wait staff. Hardly any customers in the restaurant yet it took over 90 minutes to get a soft pretzel and a beer. Will never go back.

I ordered from work on my lunch break. Every thing was ok except i didnt have enough slaw for my won ton tacos. They gave me a small 2 oz cup of cole slaw for 4 tacos. I was very dissppointed.

Got 0 service only one person working shut the place down. When we got there we waited 10 minutes befor hostest got to us only to be told we had to we had to wait ten more min to be seated . Mean while there was plenty of empty tables.

This letter is being written to express great concerns to the owner of Applebees in Willoughby Ohio. This past Friday (6/21), my family and myself went to this restaurant thinking a quick and easy place to meet with family members that came to town. It started off fine but went totally down-hill from there once we were seated.
Our waitress, Rachel C, was very incompetent as a waitress. She started us off with drinks and order, my aunt ordered a sweet tea which seemed fine at first, after a couple of sips, a blue cap floated to the top. I was sitting across from her, we both looked to see what it was since my cousin asked if she had blueberries in her tea. Another aunt ordered a watermelon margarita (which was weak), two cousins ordered beer (which one glass wasn't even filled 3/4). Rachel said there was an issue with the tap and it was coming out real slow. The another aunt ordered a Pepsi which she didn't receive until half way through with the meal even after a couple of reminders. Thank God, I only ordered water.
Well after that, it took an hour before our food was brought to the table, two plates at a time. I ordered all you can eat riblets, shrimp and tenders but no tenders for me. It took so long, so I sent my next order right when she bought first plate. The shrimp was not all the way cooked, the coating on the shrimp was still a yellowish color (not brown) and the riblets at room temperature. After the second round, I ordered a third which took awhile as well. Needless to say all this took a little over 3 hours. My two cousin's food was cold (Alfredo) and wings saturated in sauce but cold as well. Also, I would like to add that the waitress would disappear for 20-25 mins before she returned to our table. I would like to recommend thorough training for the staff. There were staff who would walk out and right back in to the kitchen but really wasn't doing anything too much productive. There was a table that was filled with family of about 8 people. They left maybe a half an hour after we were seated. The staff did not clean the table, by the time we were leaving, the table still wasn't cleaned. Not certain who the supervisor was for that night. I believe she was in a dress.
I have been to this restaurant a few times before, the worst we had to deal with was I could never get icy alcoholic drink because the machine was always broken.
