Ordered the traditional sushi rolls. Spicy tuna seemed to be tuna from a can mixed with spices not fresh tuna. Spicy crab was just that. Yellowtail wreaked like Seaworld when you fed the seals. I have door dashed for this restaurant and for the amount of food ordered and the price I gave it a shot. The price for 3 rolls was $11 and stayed miso soup was included. It was $16 with no soup at checkout. But for that price I didn’t press the issue. The employees have always been wonderful. I wasn’t expecting great sushi for that price at all but geez. I threw away 3/4 thinking from the smell I may get sick. Really disappointed and only tried from the demand I was seeing delivering from there.

The waiter and waitress raised their voice to us because we didn’t know that their policy was that if someone eats some of someone’s food, you get charged extra. That part is fine, if I knew about it. They screamed at us about an extra $3.50 for some fried rice. I was going to pay for it, but not if I am disrespected while i’m trying ti enjoy my weekend. The approach to tell us about it was terrible and the situation escalated past the point it needed to. The sushi was awesome so I would recommend takeout, because there’s no point in sitting in unless you want to get yelled at and have your night ruined.

Food got me very sick yesterday we ordered two seafood bags and hibachi. We were all on the toilet all night. Can you say food poisoning? The health department needs to shut people down this is disgusting. I have never felt so bad two hours after we all ate we were sick and having diarrhea all night sweating disgusting. I mean disgusting like come on now not poisonous.

Had all you can eat habachi for family of 5. Automattical adding 15% tip for parties of 5 or more. Its my family - not a group all meeting for lunch, Food was average.
Waitress surveyed the food on table to determine if you ordered too much to tack on addition charge at end of meal. we ordered at beginning of meal.Did not re order seconds. They bring fried rice on many dishes. Does not say on menu. Enough zucchini to make a soggy salad. Do not eat zucchini.
If you want to try different types of sushi, beware. they come in long rolls and if you do not like the taste. You will be surcharge with “waste charge”. The sushi is not anything special. Go to Giant eagle and try it instead. Never offered, just water. Server does not talk or interact with you, besides taking paper menu that involbes no talking. Just comes to table to review how much food is left. If the plate left to be discarded has food left on plate, it is left at table to be weighed for ‘waste charge”. Sever brought manager over to advise she will give a good deal to take leftover food home “waste charge”. $7.00 to pay for the food i already paid for! If you dont agree to waste charge, she will bring out scall and for each lb it will be 10.00. Will not be back!! And they do not care! place is almost empty.
Beware if you go. But remember there are better options elsewhere!

This was my first and LAST time at this restaurant. I didn't even get a chance to order because the Manager was giving me and my friends the third degree about sitting at a hot spot table and food not eaten you'll be charged etc. etc. She was RUDE and inappropriate. I'm disappointed because I really wanted to dine at this establishment. The Manager's name began with J. She was Asian. My friends had eaten here before on many occasions and never encountered this treatment until today.👎👎👎

Unfortunately, I was unable to eat at this establishment due the the MANAGER requesting that the four of us select our food BEFORE we were seated. She gave us the menu at the hostess station and asked what we wanted to order. At the hostess station!!! We were not allowed to sit down and read the menu at a table. Needless to say we ( 4 educated Black women in our 60’s) left. How can you give poor service before we even get seated???

The other kintaro locations are better. This one is short staffed with no buffet , wanted hotpot and only got sushi, we ate half a round of sushi and they went to charge us for not eating the food that we didn't like, even though we never ordered more and it was our initial order. We paid 90$ for two rolls of sushi, a plate of chicken, and two small bowls of soup. I can see the value if you like sushi that is a majority rice...but I didn't enjoy it personally. Plum wine was good though.
This is not a hibachi place this is a hot pot place. Generally hibachi is made in front of you. That was not the case here. Also it included a very sweet runny sauce that is not in line with my personal experience of hibachi food. The sushi was tasty and fresh.

Don't get the all you cant eat! If you don't eat your rice even if you're diabetic they WILL charge you extra for not eating everything on a ALL YOU CAN EAT!! Can you imagine going to a buffet and being charged for the leftovers on your plate by weight!? Never again
