Stop there for lunch and it was excellent! All you. An eat for $18.99 and top notch clean and everything made perfect. Service was super. Can’t wait to go there again, if your in the mood for a good hungry shushi, day, this is the place 5 stars
Never going back, I ordered chicken teriyaki, when I got home it was a shock I only had 3 pieces of chicken the rest were uncooked onions, the lady”s customer service was not welcoming at all when you ask her a question she hands you the menu asking if you know how to read🙃
We went in for the lunch all you can eat.. we’ve been here many times before and are AWARE of the all you can eat policy.. we know if we don’t finish it then there is a fee and you have to pay it or pay to take it home. The manager was extremely rude, we intended to pay for what we didn’t eat because that would be on us. When she came up to tell us, she was by far the rudest person here. “You’re too wasteful, waste too much.” it doesn’t matter what you think at the end of the day. We are paying for it and you are not. Great place, great food and employees just a rude manager.
The sushi is pretty good here. The is prepared well. The fish is about what you would expect at most places. Maybe even a little bit better. the appetizers are always served hot. For 19$ lunch special, you really can not go wrong. I have not had hot pot in a while. Maybe we will try that!

The food is very good however, that goodness is overshadowed by the time it takes for the food to arrive. The last 2 times I came here, for a group of 4 people, it took over an hour to receive our food. If you like all you can eat sushi and don't mind waiting for an hour, then this is your place. Overall, the food is good but the time it takes to get the food is far too long.

We are frequent patrons of other Kintaro location. This was our second time at the Eastlake one. We were greeted by a very rude woman, who ran to answer the phone instead of either taking us to our table or asking other staff to do so. The restaurant had maybe 10 other people at that time. It was unpleasantly very cold, so they definitely save money and want you out the door as soon as possible. Once I proceeded asking for clarifications on certain menu items the same rude woman could not even explain. Instead she pointed to the sign in the menu about the upcharge on the wasted food. I would not recommend this particular location at all. Take your money elsewhere.

The lady who took my order over the phone was very rude and unkind. I asked a few questions she was very short with answering me. Then when I picked up the food she was very snappy, rushing me to pay and rudely answered me when I was checking my order. This was my first time visiting this location. I wouldn’t have expected the service to be this awful.

The sushi is okay, I was annoyed that cucumber is used to fill the space where more fish should be. It's a cheap move

Two words. LONG WAITS. We had two trays of sushi and it took 30 to 40 minutes to make each order. Place was not super busy, I would say average in busyness but because of very long waits we were not able to enjoy as much sushi as we wanted to. Otherwise, sushi was amazing. Our server was good and accommodating, and even warned us about our extremely large second order. Overall, if you're not in rush, totally check this place.
Update. Went there this week and the service went to downhill. Our server was either bringing a duplicate of our previous order or forgetting to bring the rest of the order. When we mentioned that we already received the same order, he proceeded to argue with us and tried to tell that someone else ordered it but we didn't since we used only one menu to order from. In the end, they refused our coupon that was given to me by the store manager at another of their location, saying that I have to use it at the store where I got. Never coming back.

Clearly closed at 9:30 really means 9:00. I think was looking forward to grabbing dinner. I arrived at 8:15 and was advised that they close at 9 o’clock for the all you can eat sushi portion. Although the door said 930. When I asked why does the door say 930? I was advised that they need 30 minutes to clean up and 930 is when they really leave. Then you don’t close at 9:30. You close at 9 o’clock. Will not frequent this place ever again. I do not like these businesses that have posted hours and then they decide to change them at Will. I don’t care how good your food is. I can always find somewhere else to spend my money. Use the signage or change the signage but to have me drive to your restaurant and then you tell me that I’ll have about 20 minutes to order what supposed to be all you can eat. No thanks I’ll pass.

After putting in only one order, my waitress, just disappeared. I had to ask a different waiter to put in an order for me after waiting fifteen minutes with no food (and no bill) and no waitress. To be fair, I knew exactly where she was : sitting and having a conversation with another employee. Understand, the restaurant is dead. I think I'm the only customer remaining. With service like this, I can understand why.

Great food and service. The reason for the 4 stars is. On the website, the all you can eat sushi lunch says $15.99. The price charged at the restaurant is $17.99. They would not match their own online price. Pretty much false advertising. I was told that $15.99 was from 2 years ago. My response...update the damn website. How hard can that be??
12/1/24 Went back a month later and the online prices still do not match the prices they actually charge. Be aware. Food is good. Service is slipping. Please raise your online prices so they match what you actually charge.
