The Cabin is permanently closed. After years of decline, it closed its doors two weeks ago.

Love the atmosphere and even the burger was delicious! I will be back and bring friends!

We had dinner outside on the patio. Did not expect it to be so quiet!! I brought my wife & mom here for dinner. I had the Tomahawk pork chop served with mashed potatoes & Brussels sprouts all laying in this amazing sauce/gravy!! Think caveman size! It was cooked perfectly! My wife kept dipping her steak into the sauce... She had the strip steak served with mashed potatoes & Brussels sprouts. The steak was perfectly cooked at Med well. She said it was tender & juicy, but my sauce was good she dipped her steak & sprouts in it . The Brussels sprouts are grilled & tender! My mom had the Salmon served with spinach in the fried rice. She requested no spinach. She said this was really good, too. Our server Matt was friendly& knowledgeable about the menu & wine. My wife got the cab but when she was chatting with the bartender her second glass was a rose'. She said it tasted like sitting on the patio in the summer. It was dry & light. This place has been through A LOT! New owners, staff including kitchen & chefs . This is a good casual place to have dinner, a glass of wine etc. AND the chef makes exceptional brownies!!

We weren't able to eat. They didn't honor our OpenTable reservation. They were understaffed and couldn't get us in within an hour of our reservation. It was very disappointing.

es should get out and find a job somewhere else--many places are hiring and I'd bet $10,000 your boss will be better than the one you have now!

Delicious! I had the salmon and it was the best I've had in a long time. A very nice menu including sushi. Also a nice atmosphere. All servers wearing masks.

We went there 5/1/21. There is a limited menu. No sushi because they did not have the staff. The calamari was so heavily salted we could not eat it. The ceaser salad had large amounts of browned lettuce and the tree croutons were stale and soft. The flat bread pizzas..we tried all 3 were gummy, but the toppings were good. We are thankful we did not order a main dish, because we can not imagine what that would have been like. We were told the restaurant was in "transition ", I think they should close until they get it right. They say on the website they are a steakhouse, but there is only one steak on the menu and that is for $35! They should also update their website to indicate the limited menu availability. VERY DISAPPOINTED.

Even with the Covid safety measures the menu was still adequate and the service was good. The Cabin has apparently adopted some Asian cooking and they blended the flavors into the more traditional American dishes with fantastic results that were both a surprise and a delight to eat.

Pretty disappointing experience. We were hesitant to go once we read reviews, but thought we would give it a shot. We knew it was a bad sign when we saw only 2 parties at the restaurant on a Saturday night. We ordered the fried green tomatoes to start pretty flavorless. My BF ordered the Ginger beef. The waitress said " OH wow no one has ordered that in a long time." It was a a very small unappetizing brown plate. The beef itself wasn't bad, but it was also missing the bok choy. Not worth $23 for sure. i got the sushi, which was sub par. Very mediocre experience at best and we wont be back.

I always liked this restaurant and purchased some coupons through local flavor so we decided to go to dinner. We arrived early and didn't think they were open. Door was open so we went in and the place was empty. We had a cocktail and were seated for dinner. Ordered dinner and when we were checking out produced our discount coupon and waiter said he had to get approval from the manager. He returned to advise us that the coupon could not be accepted. On a positive note we always enjoyed this restaurant and wanted to support them because we were always happy with the food and service but this really disappointed us.

Me and a friend stopped by and I was absolutely blown away by the vegan options ? I will be back!! I love the eggplant dish and veggie roll

The wait was ridiculous—1.5 hours for dinner and it wasn’t even busy...had to ask for appetizer plates and silverware, staff not savvy in offering a great dining experience and staff overall is too young and haven’t been trained well. Very disappointing-was going to have a special event here but sticky floors and poor experience caused me to change my mind. Used to be a great place-too bad.

The atmosphere was fantastic, the music was fitting, the food was amazing! Went on a date night with my husband and the mood lighting was pretty sweet! Definitely a different place. 100% recommend and will be coming more often. Best sushi in this area hands down

Went back the next day for lunch after the dinner was so good! Stayed in a cabin in Hocking Hills a year ago. This place felt just like it with the comfortable style. A new favorite for us!

The waitress was pleasant, but overall dinner was a terrible experience: the beets in the beet salad were hard as a rock; the fries were grease saturated and smelled like old oil, and the restaurant itself had a “dirty” smell- we only stayed because my husband was starving. The burger and chicken sandwich were good.
