Food is great, if you haven't tried it you're missing out. I appreciate the BPI Compostable certified take home box. It's way better than styrofoam, you can reheat for a minute and it's better for the environment. Thanks for thinking of that.

Used to be our favorite place in town to get wings. The last four times we have had a horrible experience and will not be back. The sauce is either wrong or hardly sauced at all on top of old precooked wings. I have given them multiple chances and I just cannot bring myself to patronize this business anymore. I never complain about food when eating out, but enough is enough. We are very disappointed.

I always check out reviews before I go somewhere new so I had high hopes for Bex Bar & Grill. I was sucked in by the specialty fries because fries are life. I am assuming that most of the reviews for this place are by friends, family, and local Wilmington residents who want to see this place succeed, and that’s ok. But for my fellow out-of-towners, I just had to give some other feedback. If you’re looking for a place with friendly staff and a good atmosphere, I agree, this is the place for you. However, the food was ok, but likely not a place I’ll visit more than once. I ordered the Jacked Up fries and the Bourbon Burger. They ran out of chili so the Jacked Up fries ended up being queso fries with pickled jalapeños. The fries themselves and the queso were delicious but the pickled jalapeños were overwhelming, which the chili would have helped balance, I think. The bourbon burger - well the bun was great with crispy edges and soft in the middle. The bacon was cooked well and I really enjoyed the sweet and tangy bourbon bbq, even though it didn’t have much of a bourbon flavor. The burger patty had that frozen patty taste which I can usually overlook. I think a little more seasoning on the patty might have helped. I make frozen patties at home so it’s not like I’m a burger snob or anything.

Keep trying to call in orders to go and every single time I do they are magically out of what I'm trying to order. I don't know if this is just me, but this is pretty upsetting considering they have really good food.

1st time here and everything is delicious! I got the mushroom Philly, another got a BBQ chicken sandwich and another got bbq burger. All delicious the fries were great as well (im picky about my fries) Portions are huge amd its not expensive for the portion and quality
