I was originally from Lebanon, Ohio. I grew up eating ‘Dandy Donuts’. It went out of business 15+ years ago but had THE BEST donuts. I vowed to keep searching to find a donut that good and after 15 years of looking, I found it. These are the best, guys. Keep it up, I WILL be back!
The smell is amazing when you walk through the door. The donuts were good, we got a blackberry pastry to try and I was not impressed . Bummed by the selection at 9am on a Friday but I get it, I will make sure to get there earlier next time. I felt a little rushed by the lady making our box and she wasn’t very friendly. For being local I will go again, nothing I would travel for though.

Our service was subpar this time. The lady that waited on us this morning was not friendly or welcoming at all. We felt like we were interrupting her day. On top of that she gave doughnuts that were smushed. We were excited about going to your shop this morning to come out very disappointed on how we were treated.

Combs is an absolute gem. These donuts are definitely some of the best I've ever had. If I were closer, I'd definitely be going multiple times a week. I look forward to a trip out to wilmington again.

If you know you know fresh made doughnuts are so much better. Staff is courteous and friendly and did I mention the fresh baked goods. It's easy to develop a problem because they don't cheat you on filling the Bavarian cream , jelly filled, cream filled, it's not a question of is it in there (pro tip eat starting at hole to avoid wearing the filling) . Fresh pastry, glazed, knots, bear claws whatever your weakness cake doughnuts brownies.
