I was originally from Lebanon, Ohio. I grew up eating ‘Dandy Donuts’. It went out of business 15+ years ago but had THE BEST donuts. I vowed to keep searching to find a donut that good and after 15 years of looking, I found it. These are the best, guys. Keep it up, I WILL be back!
The smell is amazing when you walk through the door. The donuts were good, we got a blackberry pastry to try and I was not impressed . Bummed by the selection at 9am on a Friday but I get it, I will make sure to get there earlier next time. I felt a little rushed by the lady making our box and she wasn’t very friendly. For being local I will go again, nothing I would travel for though.
Combs is an absolute gem. These donuts are definitely some of the best I've ever had. If I were closer, I'd definitely be going multiple times a week. I look forward to a trip out to wilmington again.
