Nice people but food is subpar. Hamburgers are definitely cheap and frozen. Nachos and cheese are cheap tortilla chips and cheese sauce.

I thought I’d be missing Cinci after moving back home, but dang has Adams County stepped up their game!! We visited Smoking J’s for the first time about a month ago and we’ve been back twice since. Staff is friendly, service is prompt, and to-go orders have been ready quickly & correctly each visit. Hands down best brisket I’ve ever eaten and their bbq sauce is top notch. My partner raves about the brisket stroganoff!

My daughter took me to dinner Saturday, we decided to try a local restaurant. I had the brisket stroganoff. Was amazing! Sweet tea was best tea ever! Service was great, friendly. Will definitely be back.

Hate to say it because the lady working was nice, but this place was just not good. I totally agree with the reviewer who said the food was haphazardly thrown together and seemed to be microwaved because it had a mix of hot and cold spots. I did think the BBQ sauce was good but the execution of everything else ruined it.
My boyfriend and I stopped here on a road trip because we were starving and wanted to support a small business, but honestly neither one of us even finished our food and it was $20 down the drain.

Just bad experience all around, I love a good barbecue but this was the furthest from. We ordered our food and it came out 2 seconds later slopped together. It tasted like it was heated up in the microwave hot an cold spots, the brisket was dry hardly any flavor. we took like 2 bites and left, kids and wife didn’t like any of it either, the waitress was nice but other than than worst bbg restaurant iv ever ate at unfortunately.
